The Texans make perfect sense for him. I doubt NE will pay $8M for a RB, nor will Indy since they just overpaid for Gore. Â I say TN, HOU, and DAL are the front runners. Â Yes he would, and both Starks and Kuhn are free agent as well so there is a need with only fat Eddie left. Â Patriots make the most sense, although they tend to not pay top dollar for aging players such as Forte. But I think at this point in his career he'd be wise to take whatever they give him and chase the ring. Â Blount is an RFA and is just a banger. Dion Lewis was a nice story but will be rehabbing his torn ACL. I'd love to see Forte in New England from a fantasy standpoint. He'd be a monster. Lewis is younger, cheaper, already knows the playbook, and has chemistry with the team. Â Of the teams who need a RB, where he would fit in, and can actually afford Forte without breaking the bank I think the Giants and 49ers are the best bet. We are going to be super tight on cap and I'd think that Forte will be at the higher end of the RB FA cost spectrum. If we were to sign a FA RB, my money would be on Alfred Morris.
