darin3
Don't laugh, well over 40% of the country will automatically vote for that ticket. Cue banjos.
Big Score 1
Don't laugh, well over 40% of the country will automatically vote for that ticket. I doubt many moderates or independents would ever vote that ticket & with only 27% of the country as registered Republicans, no way it's automatically 40%. bushwacked
Don't laugh, well over 40% of the country will automatically vote for that ticket. Don't get too over-dramatic, that kind of thought cost them the election. It would get about 35% of the registered vote, and it's amongst the base that is generally dying off every year. McBoog
The NFL is a private business, and like the diner or gas station they have a sign that says they reserve the RIGHT to refuse anyone service. AGREED I have no problem either with the NFL ownership telling him to pound sand. I have a BIG problem with the ancillary opinions of those who have no real dog in the fight. As a consumer, you have the right to not attend games if the guy who owns the team is a Dbag in your opinion. As a citizen, Rush has the right to invest his money (legally) any way he pleases without the interference from all the other "metiches" that got involved! That "interference" was the exercising of the right of free speech unless you can show that there was something more. The First Amendment cuts both ways. untateve
And regarding the document posted online that supposedly proves Obama was born in Hawaii that some of you have mentioned: Please do some research and read some Hawaiian law, even Hawaii does not consider that as proof you were born there. However, even though I do not think so, I'll stipulate he was born there. That would still not make him a natural born citizen, as The Constitution requires only for President. I'm confused by this statement. You say you are stipulating that obama was born in Hawaii. However, you said that would "still not make him a natural born citizen." Hawaii became a state in 1959. Obama was born in 1961. Are you saying that individuals born in Hawaii are not natural born citizens and cannot become president?
SEC=UGA
Holy just order the fish for goodness sake.... You all are a bunch of really, deeply, troubled people to have gone on this long about Rush freaking Limbaugh... P.S. I can't believe I just read all 9 pages, the economy needs to improve so I have something better to do at work than read 9 pages of this stuff... Let's get back to something more important http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/33331085/ns/today-today_people/ Edited October 19, 2009 by SEC=UGA

Big Score 1
How about you cite a source for your statistics? It would be an exercise in futility for me to cite & source statistics for you. Please see post #191 of this thread.
tosberg34
(sigh)...all the liberal sheep so lost. I actually hope the Dems keep trying to wreck this country. I say "trying" because, to date, they haven't accomplished anything (Jack and Squat per SNL). We actually have it pretty good: If they don't do anything (even with a majority) then they will be voted out for doing nothing. If they do manage to pass all of their socialist crap and shove it down America's throats then they will be voted out for, well, shoving all their socialist crap down America's throats. Man, this will make the 2010 overhaul that much sweeter.
