irish
I've never made the playoffs... no reason to break tradition this year. Once you make the playoffs what happens? Do the points reset? Other than 1st place are there any other prize winners? ETA: I just read the rules and the points do reset. So all 500 or so contestants start with 0. Money is paid from 1st place to 6th and then 7th place through 12th get free Huddle memberships. The playoffs start in Week 13 and run through 16. I love this contest!! irish
Interesting strategy...waiting until week 10 to read the rules... Well the playoff rules any way. I already knew what to do during the regular season. I didn't make the playoffs last year but have a good shot this year, so I wanted to be sure. BillyBalata
I'm currently in 155th place and have a solid amount of studs left. 155th = Raging Rhinos?
irish
155th = Raging Rhinos? Yup. That be me.
Clubfoothead
wrong forum 1655th place and still putting in an effort. Last two week shave been my best. I had bad weeks 5 and 6 which killed my "save the studs" strategy that has otherwise served me well this year.
BillyBalata
Yup. That be me. Which studs have you saved?
i_am_the_swammi
Which studs have you saved? I thought the same thing....but the poor guy has bene ripped to shreds on these boards for the last 6 months, so I let it go.
irish
Which studs have you saved? I don't consider every guy I saved a stud, however, in the right matchups they can be. QBs Palmer, Kitna, Big Ben, Hasselbeck, Eli Manning, McNabb, Bulger, etc. RBs AP, SJax, Gore, Addai, Westy, Maroney, MJD, T Jones, Portis, Jamal Lewis, MBIII, Kevin Jones, etc. WRs S. Smith, Wayne, Roy, A. Johnson, Driver, Colston, Boldin, Burress, Walker, etc. TEs Gates, Winslow, Shockey, Miller, Da. Clark, etc. So with 7 weeks left I have just that amount of QBs, almost the exact amount of RBs and TEs I'll need but I'll be a bit short at WR but I'll figure those out. Not too shabby. Why the interest BB? Edited November 10, 2007 by irish

Boy, I tell you more guys here have a man-crush for me, what I say, who I played in MVP Challenge, who I have left, etc. then Broncos' man-crush for Frank Gore!! Hat Trick
Now that Adrian Peterson mistake not only cost me the top 500 it REALLY hurts now Ah well, I'm going for broke the last two weeks fellas, i could care less if I have nothing left, which is what happened to me the first year, seems nobody else is saving much that are in the top 500. Last year I saved and saved and didn't make the top 500. Sure wish the huddle would bring back the weekly bonus, that made the contest a lot more interesting IMO.
