i_am_the_swammi
Anyone check out all the leaves that are falling from the trees? Amazing. Some pretty cool colors, too. Autumn is neat.
Vinatieri Is God
I have a whole bunch of "neatness" all over my yard. Why don't you come by and check it out. Bring a rake, too.

TimC
I should've taken a picture of my Dogwood trees. They were shocking red this year. It was an awesome color. They've all probably blown off by now. I'll be out on the lawn tractor mulching this weekend, for sure.

I'll be there as long as you are at my house in the Spring with yours after the oak leaves have fallen.

cre8tiff
Time to start filling our annual 75 bags of yard waste... The only time I regret living in the woods...
i_am_the_swammi
Time to start filling our annual 75 bags of yard waste... The only time I regret living in the woods... Rough. Saw a nasty accident when driving to work this AM. Wet road, car slid off an embankment after coming down a hill and around a curve. There was a sea of freshly fallen leaves on the road.... Folks, be careful this time of year....wet leaves offer no traction.
TimC
Time to start filling our annual 75 bags of yard waste... The only time I regret living in the woods... I mulch mine up with my lawn tractor...isn't that better for the yard and environment? Sinner.
detlef
My wife has actually passed out fliers all over the neighborhood asking for everyone's leaves so she can compost them along with the veggie scraps from the restaurant. I'm guessing I'm going to get sucked into this.

Rebellab
My leaves are all wet and sticking to the steps and sidewalk. Soon they will be cover up by blowing and drifting snow.

darin3
Still got a few more weeks of summer to go through here...: Yeah, that's what you get for living in Mexico. Our leaves are falling and goin' right into the compost bin. We're gonna be plantin' machines come spring.
Vinatieri Is God
I'd have no problem if the leaves would fall into the compost bin. Unfortunately they tend to miss by a wide margin.

Rebellab
I just got in from shoveling leaves. It is amazing how heavy wet snow is, and then add in a bunch of wet leaves underneath. Now I will have little piles every where when ever this poopy melts.
untateve
I'm confused. It appears that some of you are implying that the leaves fall off of trees and then by November, the trees appear to be no more than giant, dead sticks. I have trees all over my yard and they are a beautiful green all year round*. Can someone please explain? . . . . . . *On occasion during the latter summer and early fall months, we have little windstorms that blow the trees completely out of the ground. The leaves on these trees tend to fall off.

Puddy
Had a great view of the leaves flying in from SC last Monday. Very purrty.
