West Virginia? Idaho? Montana? North Carolina? Kentucky? Utah? South Dakota?

Montana and South Dakota both have a large population of Native Americans, and I would go out on a limb and say a large percentage of them are non-filers or have no tax liability.

We also have a large number of ranch/farm hands and other laborers that don't make squat but are some of the staunchest conservatives in the nation.

I walked up to the Capitol Square for lunch and was shocked at the turnout...I'd guess at least 2,000 people. The Square is the site of the Wisconsin State Capitol building and Madison is one of the most left-leaning cities in the country.

I should've taken a picture for you momos.

It doesn't matter. Only red-necks are protesting today... everything can be ignored. Don't worry... the people protesting today don't actually have the right to say anything because of Bush for some reason. So onward and upward with Socialism.

Excelsior!

I'm real tired of all the left-right

From what I've heard of those interviewed most of what they've said simply isn't true. People need to stop being incited by those talk radio people that just want to piss people off.

I don't mind protests but make them honest. No one is taking away everyone's guns in this country. Be vigilant but not violent.

We're all americans. We disagree with how we achieve things but I think there is more agreement than disagreement in what we want to achieve.

We disagree on how to do it.

We're not enemies and Obama isn't a communist or terrorist or muslim.

This is a great thread! :D Tim planning the invasion, some idiots actually defending the fact that obamessiah said he doesn't know about these protests, and the five-foot swiss economist threatening to shoot people. :D

I personally think the protests are a little silly. To change things, you have to be willing to endure some pain (arrest, fire hoses, dogs, beatings, etc.) and most of these people aren't. As pissed as I am, I'm not to that point yet. It is interesting to note, however, that it's pretty tough to get conservative types agitated enough to actually protest, and libertarians - that's like herding cats. So maybe this is actually a good thing. With the obamessiah ignoring it, well, to quote a favorite book of mine: "Stripping a motivated and productive people of their dignity and rubbing their nose in it is a very bad idea". That's how a guy like Hitler came to power in Germany in the '30's.

Carry on!

Just like Pope linked, this was purely false when you claimed so a few months ago. I linked numerous poll results and you said something about them being part of a vast left wing conspiracy.

:DHave I posted the phrase left wing conspiracy? What I said was that the polls published at the time did not relate to the informal polls I had in a meeting that drew people from all across the country. I found that curious, considering most of the people there were from my corporate office in MA. What 52% was approving?

This thread is immensely enjoyable. The Have to agree here crowd is doing a spot on imitation of those they often railed against a few short months ago. :D

The only pic I have seen of the protests today was from an MSNBC link - someone was holding a sign that said, "Quit burdening our children with debt." Yeah, that isn't happening.

West Virginia...you need to change your user name. As of about 18 minutes ago, West Virginia surrendered to Virginia and we have taken you traitors back into the fold.

Now you can rename the whole state East Virginia (ala East St. Louis).
