Bobby Brown
It's the maintain possession rule....and he clearly didn't.
irish
He got three feet down and was touched down by the defensive back. Well we got a call last week and got screwed this week.
gilthorp
Tell me how one call doesn't change a game????
MTSuper7
Irish, look at the Calvin Johnson "completing the process" call vs. the Bears as the baseline. This is no different. Both are bullchit IMO but thems the rules.
irish
It's the maintain possession rule....and he clearly didn't. Â Â He was touched down prior to the loss of possession. Not to mention, he had possession and if anything it was a fumble recovered by Dez.
Mr Bad Example
Tell me how one call doesn't change a game???? Â Â They obviously can and do. Listen to Dallas fans whine about it after denying it last week. Â Â I think the whole "process of the catch" is a stupid and arbitrary rule. Â Â ...but I'll take it, right now. I ain't proud. Bobby Brown
Tell me how one call doesn't change a game???? Â Â Yup...and "good teams will still find a way to win," is also one my favorite cliches (if Dallas doesn't win...they obviously aren't good). Dolphin_Akie
He got three feet down and was touched down by the defensive back. Well we got a call last week and got screwed this week. Â Â I agree, he catches the ball at the 5 and then pushes forward with 3/4 steps then falls to the ground. He also has possession for around 4secs. isleseeya
I agree. Bryant did catch ball and I also agree PI shoul have been called last week. Even Steven now so everyone should be happy. Plus one play never decides a game anyway
Dolphin_Akie
Guarantee that rule is reviewed in the off-season though.
Menudo
I absolutely hate that stupid rule. However, under the rule, it was called correctly. They have to change that stupid rule.
Henry Muto
Hate that rule if you are diving to the ground it makes sense but when you catch it and take a couple of steps it makes no sense.
Dont Rookie Me........
I think it was the perfect call. SO apropos.
IrishPride
Just "wow", Im not sure I like replay anymore and I have been a "Cowboys Hater" all my life........
bud29
That could be the game!
Menudo
Wow....this was a great game by two great teams. Rodgers is amazing. The catch by Cobb after the deflection was amazing. Â It should be an interest week around football forums. It is very hard for Cowboys fans to complain about the call after defending last week's call. Â Again, I think the refs called it correctly by the rule, but, the rule is utterly stupid !

Mr Bad Example
Guarantee that rule is reviewed in the off-season though. Â Â We can hope. It's a terrible, terrible rule. Control, 2 feet is MUCH simpler and simpler is almost always better.
Ramhock
Rules should be easier for us fans to understand. That's a catch & so was Calvin's. Not sure what I am watching for sometimes. I am not at work, hence it shouldn't be so difficult.
Team Archer
Cowboys got what they deserve from last game. Good season though
Bobby Brown
That rule has been in place for 7 years and called consistently like that numerous times. Not sure why they'd reverse it because of this play.
