Arch Manning commits to Texas

He's the son of Cooper Manning, the only Manning boy that doesn't have a Super Bowl MVP trophy. Cooper couldn't play in the NFL because of a neck problem I think. But he spawned the No. 1 overall prospect in college recruiting. He chose Texas over Georgia or Alabama.

Quote

Texas was given a boost by Manning's strong relationship with second-year coach Steve Sarkisian.

How many 18 year olds have a strong relationship with any college coach? 2025 you'll be drafting him.

I heard that in their HS days, that Cooper was actually the best "athlete" (didn't he play WR?) out of the trio of Manning boys.  I did hear that he had the neck issue.

As for the signing of his kid........ :woot:  great score for my Longhorns.  They will be have great QB play for 5-6 years now with Quinn Ewers about to bust on the scene next season.

Thats why everyone thinks he will be so good because his dad was the most talented one of the bunch. Also he has two QB uncles to learn from as well.

Seriously, did you really crunch the numbers on that? Obviously 2 teams in the same division cannot do it, and then each division plays another division in the other conference, so I guess a team in that division cannot do it their opposing division in the other conference has a winless team.

I just hope its somebody other than the Browns or Lions when it happens.

OK, so there's fantasy football leagues for that, and you can draft unborn players?

If you build it, they will come.
