I know your first instinct is to post a message here about an issue you are having with one of our banner advertisements at The Huddle. But the most helpful thing you can do is the following:
When the issue occurs take a screen shot of your computer screen showing The Huddle page you are on and the advertisement. On most computers that will mean simply hitting the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. This is the equivalent of cutting the screen shot.
Now just paste that screen shot into an email and send it to email@example.com with any additional information you wish to describe your experience.
Since our ad network utilizes over a dozen ad serving companies that each serve thousands of ad units to our site, we require the information in the screen shot to help us identify the ad server / ad unit combination that could be the cause of the issue. Without that critical information we are unable to assist with the issue.
In addition - pop-up and expanding advertisements will indeed exist at The Huddle. While we work to limit the number of those ads, not all are within out control. So if you experience a pop-up or expanding ad, that is likely because it is an ad campaign that we are required to run.
