devi0us
I was about 10 years old and grew up in California with all female cousins except for 1 older male cousin. Raider posters everywhere in his room...Howie Long, Marcus Allen you know, the greats...he told me that this is the best team ever...I didn't really know too much about football but I loved the colors of Silver and Black. Ive been a Raider fan since that day 23 years Strong through thick and thin...I guess I'm the blacksheep of the family because every other family member that I know is a 49er fan...Raider Nation Baby!!! What About You?

Capt. Stanky
BENGALS!!! Like most I was born into it. My dad was a Bengals fan so I became one. There's been many years where I wished that I could just have a different favorite team, but true fans can't escape regardless of how much they might want to. Shorttynaz
Grew up following them as a kid - when the best thing they had to offer was their kicker, Dean Biasucci! (And well, for a short time - Jeff George and Eric Dickerson)

buddahj
I moved around a lot when I was younger because my dad was in the military. IMO, this made it difficult for me to really latch onto any particular team(s). I 1st remember rooting for the Lions/Tigers when I lived in Michigan. Then it was onto the Chiefs/Royals when I lived in Kansas. And finally the Eagles/Phillies when we lived in Pennsylvania. This was the time when my fandom really took off. When my dad retired, I was starting high school & we moved to Northern Kentucky (about 15 minutes south of Cincy). The two Philly teams have remained my favorites to this day. With a little bit of the Reds sprinkled in there.
MustOfBeenDrunk
When i was a teenager I went to work on my family's sod farm in Minny I got in trouble in school and my parents sent me back there as a punishment ! One day all my cousin put together a touch football game and there was some old guy that played ref. I didn't know who he was at the time just that his name was Bud Grant. After summer was over and I flew back home I was showing off some Polaroid pictures from the game and that's when one of my friends asked how I knew Bud Grant ? I said he was just a family friend that came by the farm a lot. Also in the pictures where Gary Cuozzo & Gene Washington Man that seems like a life time ago
CrimsonGhost
Drafted Randy Moss his rookie year. Rode him to a Fantasy Championship. Have Loved The vikings ever since. It helps that i live in Wisconsin and absolutely HATE the butt Packers. P.s. I was even a believer that The Whizzinator was the the steak of the draft in 2003. STL Fan
My fate as well. But my heart will always be for the Big Red. One of my favorite pictures of me as a kid is wearing a full Big Red uniform with the number 17 on it for my boy, Jim Hart. This would have been about 1972, so I would have been about 9. At one point I had a Roger Wherli poster that they gave away at A&W or someplace.
