MonkeyOne
I'd like the Bucs to get some help on the defensive line, a good DT and maybe a DE. I'd really like them to get a QB for the long term, but I don't know where one of those is coming from, so maybe we can cope with Garcia for another year. We really need some good, young wrs too. I've seen a lot of mocks have the Bucs taking a rb in round one, but I'd be happy with the committee of Graham/Dunn/Williams 9if he's better) for another year or a later back, as I think the above needs are greater. Rovers
Everything Defense. Especially up the middle. MLB, NT or a couple of DT's, and especially a couple of Safety's. We have absolutely 0 right now. Â And this would be for ???? team?

'canes2004
Would love to see the Dolphins go after Housh or Boldin (if he becomes available) or another decent WR. Â They also could use some help in the secondary as well and maybe bolster the LB corps a bit. Â Another big body on the OL would be grand too. 'canes2004
Not sure that's the best use of resources... Ginn, Bess, Camarillo are capable enough. Â Ginn is a bust. He was drafted for his KO/P returns and has since lost his job on both. He runs horrible routes and his hands are beyond suspect. Camarillo is your typical possession WR and did a great job but his knee injury is a concern. He might not be ready for the start of next season. Bess has been great and was a pleasant surprise being that he was undrafted. He will go into training camp as a starter. Would still love for another top flight WR to go opposite of Bess with Camarillo in the slot. Edited February 7, 2009 by 'canes2004

'canes2004
You know your team better than I do. I didn't realize that Ginn was essentially done in Miami. Â I think we're stuck with him for another year. If you remember the int. returned for a TD by Ed Reed. in the playoff game, the was a direct result of Ginn's poor route. We were sitting right where the route was going and I could tell as soon as Chad threw it, that Ginn was lost in his route. Pennington gave him an earful as they left the field as well as the WR coach. Not to mention the costly fumble by Ginn later in the game as the Dolphins were driving after they closed the gap to 1 score and Ginn basically fumbled the ball off his knee on a reverse that sealed the Dolphins fate. Â He might not be done, but he'll be hard pressed to get a starting WR job. Edited February 8, 2009 by 'canes2004
'canes2004
So would you rather use the first round draft pick for a WR like Darrius Heyward-Bey or Kenny Britt than a S/CB like I've seen in many mock drafts? Â Man, that's tough. Personally I would rather get a FA WR and use the 1st round pick for either a young DB or OL. Between Bess and Camarillo, we have youth at the position so I think it would be better served to add a veteran at WR. Plus a veteran can come in and start right away and help the young guys with their technique. I would be surprised if Parcells used the 1st rounder for anything other than Def. or OL. Chief Dick
Since I am a thread starting dumbass, here is what I really want to see: Â Â Â 1. A commitment to using some of the salary cap dollars to beef up this roster. Â 2. A good draft. Ideally, trade down if you can find a partner. In this draft I want to see at least 2 OL, 1-2 QB, 1-3 linebackers, 1-2 defensive ends. This team needs to be built from the lines out, and I fully expect Pioli to do that. Â 3. Switch to a 3-4 defense.
westvirginia
For the cowboys, I just want JJ to sell the team and for the new owner to get a real coach. Â For the falcons, they need db help and a TE that has hands. Peele was OK, but I can't help thinking how much better Matt Ryan would've been with Crumpler there over the middle. i_am_the_swammi
WR: I have long defended the Eagles thinking that, in this offense, a couple above-average WRs could do well enough to offset the lack of a big-time WR. With Curtis being injured for the first 8 games of the year, and rookie Desean Jackson learning the ropes, the gelling didn't happen fast enough, and the Eagles got off to a 5-5-1 start. However, both performed down the stretch and into the playoffs, and the offense looked solid even without a true running threat with Westbrook injured much of the year. However, the NFC Championship game reconfirmed what a huge target means to an offense. Fitzgerald was everything the Eagles didn't have, and it showed more than ever on their final fateful drive. Without breaking the bank, it would be a huge addition to get a true #1 WR, freeing up Jackson for some one-on-one deep balls, and allow Curtis to move into the slot and thrive in Welker/Stokely fashion. Boldin or Houshmanzadeh would be excellent fits, and it was refreshing to hear on 950ESPN radio that Housh spent more than a few moments campaigning to Reid when the teams met this year. Â Another year, and apparently one without a top WR threat....unless this is smoke: Â Eagles | Won't look at wide receiver in free agency Mon, 16 Feb 2009 10:40:22 -0800 Â FOX 29 Philadelphia reports Philadelphia Eagles general manager Tom Heckert said the team likely won't be adding a free agent wide receiver to QB Donovan McNabb's arsenal. "It's an easy out for everyone to say we need a wide receiver but we did get one - DeSean Jackson," Heckert said. Heckert believes Jackson is a prime threat at wide receiver and receivers won't be an issue for the team during the free agent season. Typical Eagles BS. And Heckert really has no power anyway.
T-Scorp
Vikings.... Â Â #1 need is QB... not much out there in FA, Cassell is going to be expensive so that really leaves Garcia. He would be able to step into our "kick a$$" offense and provides more than T-Jax and Ferrotte. QB draft class is weak so I do not want us to draft one this year, we already have Booty to fill the you QB who will never see the field role. Â #2 RT Hicks is servicable but I believe this is a draft priorty. Â #3 Center Birk may be gone and that leaves Sullivan or Cook as the potential starter. Still may be able to resign Birk but he has been tapering off over the last couple of years (injuries have not helped) Sullivan could develop but again I think this is a draft need. Â #4 DB/S Sharper may be gone and Winfield is getting old. We need to get a couple of younger players back there.
