cre8tiff
Hugh! I listened last week and you were spot on, THANKS! This week, I am schtupped. Performance league +1 per rec/rush Will play entire 16 weeks top 3 point total split money. Drop McMahon to pick up Bledsoe? I need to start one of the two this week, since Favre's matchup is against Chi-town. I am over my spending limit on WW acquisitions and would like this WW add to last until the end of the season, while still keeping me in one of those three money spots... Mjbdisc
Hugh thanks in advance. I must win to keep my slim playoff hopes alive. I must choose 2 RB, 2 WR and 1 RB/WR...I usually play 3 RBs but this week I am thinking 3 WRs. MBIII @ giants - got the goal line carries but didnt cash in last week, i think he gets like 40 total yards and maybe a TD or 2 alstott @ saints - has scored a TD last 4 games, should be opportunities this week ronnie brown vs bills - fumbled twice last week but did score a TD, could see him busting a long run TD, otherwise he is good for like 5-10 points pat pass vs jets - Pats RB situation is mess with dillon and faulk both possibly back but I suspect pass will be the main man sunday. very risky but potentially lucrative upside curtis vs Pats - looked ok last week vs saints, should do ok vs pats unless they get so far behind they must pass...will he get a TD? probably good for like 80 yards and maybe a TD mcgahee @ dolphins - hasnt done shucks like all year but he is due for a big game and coming home to miami I could see him doing well. 80 and TD Jurevicius @ eagles - monday night game, coming off huge game, he is primary reciving target in the red zone but will this game become the sean alexander show? they will only pass as much as they need to which not be much. rod smith @ KC - mr consistency, he is always good for at least 50 and a TD most weeks. I could see a big week here as KC's secondary is suspect and they will have to do more than just run to stay with KC's O. hines ward vs cincy - I am thinking of benching him this week. pitt will be looking to run on cincy, cincy has strong CBs, and I have heath miller who I can see stealing roethlisberger's 1 passing TD. then again he is hines ward and this is a big game. matt

soulrebel
Hi Hugh ... as always, thanks a ton for your input! Looking for advice on who to start as my #2 RB alongside LJ this weekend: - W. Parker vs. CIN - J. Lewis vs. HOU - K. Jones vs. MIN I also have Bettis, but I don't think he warrants consideration. They just announced that Parker will start for PIT, and Cincinnatti's run defense is suceptible to some big numbers, so I'm tempted there, but I'm scared of the potential RBBC. KJ is too fragile/unreliable, but maybe Jauron will finally decide to give him the rock with some consistency. Jamal finally had a good day last week, and with C. Taylor questionable and facing the Texans, I'm inclined to start him. Thanks again, and good luck this weekend!
Roo
Willie Parker vs. CIN or De Shaun Foster vs. ATL Feels like a wash to me. Both teams have something to play for, both RBS have vultures, both are fast and can break a big run. Both can catch (.5 per reception) with a slight nod to Foster. PIT runs better and more often, so slight nod to Parker.
ramdes
Is Curtis still a good #3 WR to start this week or do you go with one of the following? Wilford, S. Parker, J. McCareins or A. Battle?
brighton boys
Hugh thanks in advance. Standard scoring league Need 2 RB's Rudi @ Steelers (tought matchup) K.Jones vs Vikings (What will Jauron do and is he really hurt?) Caddy @ Saints (which caddy shows up) G.Jones @ Saints (Will fragile fred play) I think caddy is must start and leaning toward Rudi with outside chance of playing G.Jones if Taylor does not play? Need 1 of the 3 WR's Driver @Bears (tough matchup) Bennett @ Indy ( Leanning this way) Curtis vs Skins ( Last resort) C.Henry vs Steelers (team I'm Playing has Palmer at QB) Thanks
linkster
Thanks in advance Hugh! WW pickup, Jamal or C. Martin? Thinking of dropping Fast Willie. Heading into playoffs...worth it? My other RBs are LJ, James, Rudi. I’m in an 8-team Performance League. Also D. Foster, Greg Jones are available. Hold pat or make a move? THANKS! darin3
OK Hugh-ster, I rolled with your call on Willie Parker (over the Joneses, Kevin and Greg) last week. It didn't affect me; got a win via Harrison's big catch and the Indy D. Parker racked up 6.6 points. Greg Jones' game was pretty bland for the first three quarters, and then rumbled into the endzone for a score. So, truly was a toss-up if it weren't for that one late play. Anyways, this week is rather important - facing a team stacked with hugh WRs that should put up some points. That said: Parker @ CIN - He had a HUGH game last meeting. G. Jones @ CLE - Cherry matchup IF he's the starter. K. Jones vs. MIN - Does Jauron "get it"? C. Brown @ IND - Crappy matchup, really. I'm leaning towards Brown and Parker again, but am tempted to play a Jones again. Greg moreso than Kevin, if Taylor sits. Thoughts? Also, while I got ya here, my 2nd/3rd WRs are giving me some brain pains. Obviously starting Harrison, but as for my 2/3, I have Curtis, Andre Johnson and Jerry Porter (Clayton too, but no). Thinking of going with Johnson and Porter given STL's not-so-hot matchup and Fitzpatrick at QB. Thanks, as always, Hugh.
timk
Who would you go with: 1. Farve vs the Bears in Chicago 2. McNair vs. Colts in Indy (on short week) 3. Guest ksu70
Hugh- Looking for any edge for the playoffs. My DST's are Buffalo and Atlanta. They are hit and miss. Do you see any fliers with these WW options? San Diego, Green Bay, Cleveland or New England? I am a little curious about San Diego and even NE when they play the Jets, or, just go with what I have?
