darin3 Posted January 8, 2007 Share Posted January 8, 2007 Big Country is already coming (he has a buddy from college that's going to be out there anyways, plus he never turns down an opportunity to hit up Vegas) and our favorite "banned Huddler", spain, has expressed interest in coming out to take part in the revelry (OK, he just wants to play poker). We're more than likely staying at The Palms (best pool and atmosphere, IMO). My best man is a new father, not to mention a medical resident that works roughly 90 hours a week. So the planning has been spotty. I can't guarantee I can get you a reduced price on a room. Sorry. In any case, if any of you Huddlers need an excuse to head out to Vegas for a weekend of poker, slammin' beers and shots, and clubbin'... the weekend is February 23-25. The earlier you go the better as she is less pregnant then thus the baby will not have eaten all of her brain that allows for negotiation at that point..... go for the later date and you are gambling with being able to reason with a pregnant women with odd cravings and no ability to rationalize anymore whatsoever.... not that I have the same situation going on or anything..... Indeed those airlines are whacky. I booked my flight day before yesterday at $282 RT. It was down $60 the day before. However, I seen how booked the plane was so I did not think it would go down. Guess what it did yesterday? Went down to $232. Oh well! Oh and by the way, I am flying in on the 22nd. I will be with wife and it is a trip with the wife but a little hookup might work out.
