Having a big ol' bash this weekend....

complete this sentance...

A party would not be a party, without these five songs:

1)

2)

3)

4)

5)

I have around 500 songs picked out right now... but want to make sure that they don't lean excessively towards one genre or another. There'll be a poop load of people with some pretty varying tastes.

again.. keep them coming... I have a lot of the songs listed...

also... what I am forgetting... I am expecting like 40 people... I haven't done something this size in a long time... what are the little details that folk forget about until the last minute?

Get a LOT of ice. I always feel like it's better to have too much than too little and it's easy to run out of if there are a drinkers.

Also, make sure you have tp stocked in the bathrooms. The amount of tp that chicks consume sometimes amaze me.

Hopefully you've thought about all the other normal standars like cups, trash bags, snacks (or food), napkins and tons of booze.

:D hmmm...well if the orgy does happen, i've got some ideas

but other than that, what kind of party is it? just a get together?

Kind of a late birthday/new years/house warming thing...

pools, darts, shuffleboard, beerpong, classic arcade machine (bugger has like 100 games), beer, wine, crap load of food, etc...

Better to have too much Mead, then to run out. :D

Have plenty of water, pop, and ice available too.

Stock your bathroom with plenty of clean dry towels (nothing worse than just one old raggedy wet towel to dry your hands on), and plenty of rolls of toilet paper.

With that many people, you won't all be able to gather in one spot, so set up chairs in like little groups of 6 or so conversation areas around the main level of your house.

After everyone is there, it will start to get hot inside with that many people, so crack a window or adjust your thermostat about an hour into the party.

Set out obvious trash and recycling bags for people to use.

well you already took care of the music, maybe more entertainment like tv to watch basketball or something. and then the obvious food, drinks, silverware, ect.
