I really don't think you can do these lists without separate categories for comedies. It is hard to compare Dumb & Dumber and The Godfather. Here is my list: Top 5 T.V. Shows (Comedy) 1. Seinfeld 2. The Office 3. Friends 4. Curb Your Enthusiasm 5. Cheers Top 5 T.V. Shows (Non-Comedy) 1. Sopranos 2. 24 3. 4. 5. I honestly can't think of any other Non-Comedy T.V. shows I've ever gotten into. Caddyshack (gasp! It's good, but not that good. And I love Bill Murray) 3. Field of Dreams (overly sentimental dreck IMO) 4. Lost in Translation (Not so into pure filmic character studies and you'd think this was the greatest movie ever made by some people's accounts) Home Alone (how did this kiddie flick make so much money?) This is tough, but I'll give it a go... I know I'll forget something well after I post and go All of these are in no particular order except for The Simpsons. TV (Comedy) 1. The Simpsons 2.
