spain Posted April 23, 2007 Author Share Posted April 23, 2007 I will add more to this thread when I have had a few days to decompress. Right now I am sitting in the Vegas airport. I am actually sitting in a wheel chair because I needed to find a power supply for my laptop. I hate the fact that electrical outlets are so dam scarce at airports. Why is that anyway? The only one that wasnt in use is located directly underneath the water fountain(I think that is a "bubbler" for you cheese heads) and directly in front of the ladies bathroom. So, I am watching all the chicks as they go in to pee. I didnt want to sit on the floor so I commandeered a wheel chair. Nobody was using it and there are others stockpiled here. whomper Posted April 23, 2007 Share Posted April 23, 2007 So I finally meet the legend..Although a brief meeting im definetely glad I got to say hello and shoot the breeze a little bit. I met Crispirions first and got a chance to talk to him a bit longer while we waited for Spain Great guy. Very easy to talk to. Spain was pretty much just as I expected. Very outgoing and good personality. Right out of hee haw though..Our plan was to meet up on saturday afternoon and have a drink and do some gambling which we discussed on friday night. Me and my boys really hit the town hard though friday. I arrived back in my room at 10:30 from partying all night. Considering the time difference my body felt like it was 3:30 Jersey time. So saturday afternoon was pretty much recovery time for me. Â The guys I went down with are very much into the club scene which I dont particularly care for but I go with the flow. On saturday night they wanted to go to this place Pure which is in Cesars which is a club as club can get so I told them I was thinking of taking a pass. I said im going to call the huddle guys and do some gambling and drinking. I remember crispy saying he had a party to go to saturday but I called anyway and got his voicemail. Then I said let me give Spain a ring. One of my friends said which one was Spain the hillbilly ? But after reading Spains post im assuming I was calling when he hit the wall because I called about 3 or 4 times throughout the night and got his machine..All and all a great weekend but my body needs rest..Vegas is fun but wipes you out Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But we met up with someone the night we got in and he just HAD to show us around to places we hadn't been before, so we ended up there as our first stop. But I went up and had a couple drinks at Voodoo lounge as is my custom when I am in Vegas. Its on the very top of the Rio, and is spectacular up there. Plus they have really hot young chicks dancing in little cages in really really really short pants. Lets put it this way, you must shave in order to work there as a dancer. Got the picture? Â Anyway, my plane was late. Weather on the west coast caused some major flight delays. So, instead of getting home at 12:30 am, I didnt get in until almost 2:00am. By the time I got home and in bed it was almost 3:00. And of course, my kids were crawling all over me this morning right at 6:00 am. I had fun, but it is alot harder to roll like that at 44 than it was at 24. I remember back in the day pulling all nighters all the time and going to work like it was nothing. But my ass is draggin like the knuckles on a Silver Back today. Tonight I will sleep the sleep of the dead. Vegas will grind you into the dirt. I have no idea how people can live there. But I will be back there in a month to do it all over again. Â Well, this concludes 4 days in the life of Spain. It started with a bad shoulder, a cortizone shot, and a great birthday present from my wife. It ends with more of a whimper than a bang. A fun weekend it was but I didnt do as well as I normally do and I drank too much. But I love Vegas and have mucho fun there. This coming weekend I am having my annual NFL Draft/Poker Party. The following weekend, GodTomSatan is coming to Gods Country and then we are heading up to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby! Then Memorial Day Weekend its back to Vegas! He's 'that guy' that everyone should know in every city. Knew everyone and got us into everywhere we went that night with a very little wait. Last summer we went and stayed at Ceasars and had another couple with us. My buddies wife and my wife started talking about how bad they wanted to go to a strip club and see some naked women. Me and my buddy were like HELL YEAH, after we finished high fiving eacother of course. We left the poker room at Ceasars and went out to get a cab. Well, Celine's show had just ended the the cab line had to be over 500-1000 people at least. Well since I am a Diamond club member, I got to go straight to the front of the line and walk in a cab. You talk about some pissed off people, 1 lady tried cutting us off and the guy hailing the cab asked her if she was a Diamond member and she said yes. He asked for her card and she showed him the standard gold card. He then asked me for my card and I showed it to him, he then took the card waved it at her and said "this is a diamond card you stupid bitch" and then showed her to the back of the line. I have never had more people cussing me out then that but it was an awesome feeling. My buddy and his wife then said, I guess membership does have it's privlieges  Oh, the Strip club was awesome and the Wife and I had some major fun in the back of the cab.
