untateve
I was the honor student "burn-out"--or so I was called. Because I had long hair (2nd longest in my graduating class, 1st among honor grads) and got high, I was not invited into National Honor Society until the end of my junior year. Being amazingly cool and feeling like I was judged on my appearance and not my grades, I rejected the invitation and did not join.

Rebellab
Athletic Supporter - I have scoliosis and wore a back brace in high school 24 hours a day and they wouldn't let me compete with it on. So I hung out with the jocks and went all the home and away events with another friend and we drank beer afterward and no one cared. Preepy Outdoorsman I didn't go to prom because it was opening weekend of border water fishing.
TimC
Track/CC prep that got along with pretty much everyone except the gawd-danged long-haired hippies. I dated the same girl through High School that was a year behind me. She was on the tennis team. Our school wasn't that "clicky" really. Everyone pretty much got along with everyone else. Except the hippie stoners. And they only showed up to class once a week and we'd pummell them endlessly with their own bongs.

wiegie
I was not invited into National Honor Society until the end of my junior year. I never got invited into the National Honor Society. Something about not basically never doing homework probably contributed to that. (I think some people were annoyed when I ended up getting the second highest score in my class on the ACT. (I think it also annoyed some teachers that the guy who got the higher score on the ACT was the person who came in second to me on the high-school entrance exam we had taken 3 years earlier. He wasn't that much of a better student than I was, so that fact that we still ended up doing better than everybody else on the ACT and made it seem that the value-added from 3 years of high-school was pretty much null was a source of amusement to us and a source of aggravation to some of our classmates & teachers.)) As for what categories exactly I fit into in high-school, I have no idea. Mostly, I just wanted the whole experience to be over with. rajncajn
Beer-drinking, rock-loving underachiever. I've always described myself in High-School as a non-participator. Not in "social" activities mind you, but any type of school functions or organizations. I was also the type who was friends with all the groups mentioned.
