Maybe Earth, Wind, and Fire probably has to be my guilty pleasure.

There is no shame in having some EWF. They have been one of the great American bands for a long time, and are incredible talented singers and musicians. I've got like three full EWF albums on my ipod.

My guilty pleasure is the Carpenters.....I got nostalgic around Christmas time and downloaded some of their stuff. :D

Christian is one I just never could get into. It all seems just so hokey to me, even all the so-called modern stuff.

U2 is the only halfway decent Christian music out there.

I've developed a liking for the Smooth Jazz and New Age music featured on the Weather Channel and Weatherscan. I actually purchased the Weather Channel CD not long ago. Man, I'm getting old fast. :D

that whole "contemporary christian" genre is pure dreck. that souht park episode a while back nailed it....just take whatever happens to be the lamest top 40 song of the moment, substitute "jesus" for "baby", and bam....goldmine.

Of the top of my head, Lenny Kravitz actually has some pretty good "Spiritual" stuff & I can tolerate some Jars of Clay music.

The band I mentioned in my first post here, Kings X seem highly religious. Thing is, they can flat out play and sing. The arrangements are a bit cheesy but it's killer workout music.

Patsy Cline - 'Sweet Dreams', 'I fall to Pieces' and 'Crazy'...still the greatest female vocalist of all-time

Patsy Cline is in no way shape or form ghey, lame or craptacular. . .please stick to the rules of the thread sir.

:D

It just so happens that she is also in no way shape or form the "greatest female vocalist of all time". A fine vocalist to be sure, but her genre is no where near as demanding as, say Ella's. That'd be like calling some dude who owned the bowling circuit the greatest athlete in the world.

so is sufjan stevens, i believe.

Oh yeah... :D

I was on the fence for a while trying to figure out if all of his love for a man songs were really about God or not.

"I'm in love with a man! ....a man called God.

Does that mean I'm gay for God? You betcha."

I also listen to a lot of New Age stuff...Andreas Vollenweider, George Winston & such. It all just depends on my mood.

I just saw George Winston in concert. :D

My biggest guilty pleasure is probably all the chick rock I listen to. Anything from Siouxsie and the Banshees to Fiona Apple to Lacuna Coil and Nightwish.

So I was surfing around youtube looking for some live John Frusciante footage and came across him doing a solo version of the Bee Gee's "How Deep is Your Love". Two days later I put the original on my iPod. And I like it. :D

What's the gheyest, lamest, pussliest, and/or most craptacular song on your iPod? You know, the one you'd never want anyone to know you like. . .

No joke, that song exactly!!!
