dmarc117
While gas prices continue to rise currently, there may be hope on the horizon for future as the summer travel season kicks into full gear. The average price of regular gasoline in the United States has jumped more than 7 cents over a two-week period to $2.92, according to the national Lundberg Survey released Sunday. That's nearly 62 cents above the price for a gallon a year ago. In the past two weeks, gas prices have climbed more than seven cents a gallon. Analyst Trilby Lundberg said the average price for a gallon of mid-grade was $3.05. Premium was at $3.16. Denver had the lowest average price among cities surveyed at $2.71 a gallon for regular unleaded. Chicago was highest at $3.22.
Scooby's Hubby
Higher than expected supply of oil in US coupled with less demand than years prior will tame drving season prices this year. With a young family, I am into the road trip vacation. Too bad the oil spill makes Destin FL less attractive.

tazinib1
Time to resurrect this thread. Average for regular unleaded in San Diego county = $3.77 per gallon. I still go to the run-off stations that are around $3.65 but I've seen it past the $4 mark up in LA.

TimC
St. Peters, MO (STL suburb) roughly $0.8371612348075907 / litre. Litre? Has Canada invaded all the way South to Missouri? Or does MO stand for Montana? Nothing really matters to us West of the Mississippi. Edited March 2, 2011 by TimC

TimC
I put in $75.00 yesterday, which was the maximum the gas station allows you to pump, in my Chevy Silverado, which holds something ridiculous like 28 gallons, and it only filled it up to a little over a half tank. I blame Obama, of course.
buddahj
I filled up yesterday @ $3.36/gal. Almost $40 to fill up the tank of my Honda Civic.

Can we invade Libya now and take their oil? ETA: Filled the F-150 up for $70. The bride filled her Prius for $22.
