I Like Soup
OK, wait. I am staying at the Polo Towers during WSOP and they are two bedroom suites and it is around $75 a night...we might wanna look at that option. Oh...and Robn...pussssly...don't ever show the missus (read: home boss) what is playing!
Swiss Cheezhead
When are you coming/leaving? -- No tickets yet, but I imagine it'll be Friday midday till Monday morning. My only dilemma is whether to stay till Tuesday so I can catch the Packers on Monday night. If not, I'll need to be back home in time to catch it. Where are you staying? -- My dad/stepmom/younger brothers live in Vegas, so I'll be staying with them (along with Swiss Miss and our son -- who will be 11 months old by then ) Big Dinner? Group get together? -- To be honest, since I'll be with family, I'm probably going to have to choose either Friday OR Saturday to hang out with y'all. Or, maybe, I'll be able to hang out both nights, but the wife will definitely be with me for one or the other. Where are we watching Sunday NFL? Does the hofbrauhaus have TVs & Sunday Ticket? If so, it gets my vote for Sunday. If not, it gets my vote for either Friday or Saturday. --------- P.S. This thread is basically a bunch of dudes who are just looking forward to having a good time with no worries and no desire to plan much of it. I'm seeing a lot of "I don't care -- wherever, whenever, I'll be there"...which is totally understandable. However, I think someone might as well take charge of the coordination/planning, just to make it easier on everybody else. Since event-planning is a big part of my job, I'm going to (hesitantly) volunteer to start lining up all the details. Obviously, I'd be keeping everybody apprised in this thread. So, if y'all are cool with the idea, I'll wait to see a handful more people post their arrival/departure info. Then, I'll look for "our kind" of places for get-togethers, and hopefully they'll be somewhat near the WCOFF Hilton. Obviously, we have plenty of time to work this out, but the sooner the better -- that way, people can plan the rest of their trips accordingly. Might as well get some initial input: Friday = preferably Casino night? Saturday = dinner/drinks at one location (after which we might be able to find another place to hang out)? Big Country
I certainly can do either night, but I prefer Saturday night for the "scheduled get together" so that those of us that are drafing Saturday moring don't pull a twiley by puking on a penguin and having to bow out of our drafting duties because we partied it up too much on the Friday night. For the record, I didn't bow out, it had already been previously discussed by my team that I wasn't drafting. T-bone stuffing shots down me was just a way of solidifying Soup's position as a draftee. And... I didn't puke on the penguin, I violated her in rude and crude ways. It's probably rougher on you West coast guys but drafting at 10 is really noon or later for most of us. Oh...and Robn...pussssly...don't ever show the missus (read: home boss) what is playing! Better she know in advance. She knows I know what's playing and I wasn't ready to drop the "Gee, Hon, I didn't know you liked them" card. After 36 years there are no surprises. Sorta like the Married man's version of Playboy........same centerfold every month forever! By the way, I know there are a couple of us that won't be going to the titty bars. I for one feels when viewing naked wimmens younger than my daughter. Besides, I did that plenty in my 20's-30's. The internets are cheaper. Bier, Hofbrauhuas sounds good to me for dinner. Especially if it's like the old Alpine. That place was great! Edited May 22, 2008 by rocknrobn26

You are capable of wandering off from any locale. However, the drunker you are, the slower you walk, thus the less likely you are to cover great distances in your wandering making it easier to track you down. Big Country
Wow.. I thought Darin and I may have scared you off of wanting to meet more Huddlers. Of course, with how wonderful Darin and I are, I am afraid we have set you up to be disappointed by the rest of our ragtag group in Vegas.
