Grimm74
Well, I was not expecting to get a blank from C Cooley tonight. The new offense maybe pretty bad for him? One target and it was taken back on a penalty.
Flip_Side
Ya doesn't look good for Cooley owners tonight, but the Giants have completely handled the time of possession so he hasn't been on the field a whole lot.
ts
Campbell not quite looking like the second coming of Jim Zorn either.
theeohiostate
Cooley just caught a ball................who's complaining now ?
Rovers
There was one play late in the game... Cooley was open in the middle at the first down marker... Cambell threw short to the sidelines instead. Cooley was WIDE open... bottom line, Cambell sucks. So it would appear, does Zorn.
ABearWithFurniture
Yep, Campbell looked totally lost in the first half, and then the Giants just started loading the line of scrimmage every play in the second and this game was done. What's really sad though is if the Redskins had caught 3-4 of those gift baskets Eli delivered right in their hands might have been a chance, but only if they returned them for TDs themselves. Is it just me or does Manning hit the defenders with his passes about the same number of times he hits the ground and his receivers?
major-tom
Ok all of us who have Cooley and 1.7 points to start the week repeat after me. Hi my name is _______ and I drafted a Redskin. Its the 1st step to recovery.

I saw Eli make one real bad throw.... and several where the WR did not make the same read of the D. I saw at least two near INT's that I would have blamed on Burress. Cambell on the other hand seems to be wearing goggles that make a wide open Cooley invisable. Other than that... I look forward to hearing about all the fines from the dirty play in this game, on both sides. I count at least 6 players who will be pickpocketed by Godell next week. WaterMan
I see the Redskins are going to continue the same performance as in the preseason.
Footballjoe
Cooley was busy TRYING to block Tuck most of the night.
pokerboss
i think cooley saw limited opportunity here, in part due to the TOP, but also being required to stay in protection more than usual due to the giants pressuring defensive scheme. theprofessor
Be patient fella's .... It takes some time implementing and executing the WC system. When Campbell get's Thomas and Kelly to play along with Randle El, Moss and Cooley he'll produce. I think those that bail early will regret it. justin
Cooley didn't even pick himself for his fantasy team, why would anyone else!? http://chriscooley47.blogspot.com/2008/09/...tball-2008.html
kpholmes
Take note. This is what happens to all-around good tight ends when the O-Line can't pass block. Cooley was stuck blocking all night long... Edited September 5, 2008 by kpholmes

Randall
New offense. Opening against the world champs wasn't very lucky. Give them time. I think this will work out fine.
Grimm74
All I saw last night was Cambell hike the ball and Stare i mean STARE at the WR he was going to throw it too.....Did I say STARE?
Footballjoe
I kept thinking the Skins should have benched Cooley for Yoder. He is a blocking TE. I guess the Giants would know he would stay in to block but for the most part I think they knew Cooley had to stay in.
Bronco Billy
Only suckers draft Redskins. Not in IDP leagues. Some of their D players are going to get lots of opportunties.

When they're on the field the whole game I guess you're right. Never played in an IDP league though.
Randall
Something we will see Eli leading the league in interceptions.
