Puddy
Trying to look at recent player news but my login doesn't work. Says it expired on February 9th. Do I need to pay now? I thought we normally re-upped during the summer

WJW
This has been discussed over in the support forum as well. All Huddle memberships have been seasonal since 2001, including all 2008 memberships, with a hard expiration date following the NFL season. Our memberships have never been "annual" or "yearly". In years past off-season content (the little we had) was free. So a paid membership wasn't required to access the site content in the off-season. That is what's changing going forward. Starting in 2009 we will be producing a full slate of off-season content which will mostly be for members only. Hence the need for a 2009 membership to access the premium off-season content. Puddy
Well since I put away $.48 every week to subscribe in June I guess those Girl Scout cookies will have to wait. Oh and is it too late for the auto-renewal option for this year? Never saw that before but that's 4 weeks savings
Savage Beatings
Surprised me too. But I guess it's not too big of a deal since there's a lot of free content out there on the innernets until you are ready to financially commit to another year at the Huddle. From a general customer-service standpoint, it would have been a good idea to let your paying customers know of these changes. To all-of-the-sudden not be able to log-in , without warning, is just wrong. Imagine if your cable company just turned you off. You inquire to find out what the deal is, and they tell you "Well, we're changing the way we do business, and adding some extra content to our programming, so unless you pay now for these added services, you don't have access to anything you did yesterday. We thought we'd do all this without alerting you." Also, a description of what the added content is going to be would be helpful. To charge people up-front for something that hasn't even been disclosed is also a little odd. All it would have taken was a token email to your subscribers to let them know of the changes coming, and the due-dates to pay for newer, better, year-round premium content. I am guessing a sales/PR person is not on your payroll.
