jaxfactor Posted September 2, 2009 Share Posted September 2, 2009 FWIW, I called Delta this morning and asked about flying standby on an earlier flight. She told me that there were a few and one sounds like the exact flight I took last year. Leaves here at 10:23AM and arrives in Vegas at 2:52PM. I need to call(yes, I don't even have to be there) 3 hours ahead of time and put my name on the standby list. It will cost me and extra $50, but the regular flight would have probably cost more anyway. I brain farted and just looked for the cheapest flight I could get. I really don't want to get in that late(6:30PM Vegas time) as I'll miss probably at least half of the Steelers-Titans game and that is unacceptable to me.
