darin3
Alright I'm bored so let's spin this even more.... Thursday * For the early-comers, we'll be staking out a spot to watch the games, drinking, general debauchery * We'll hopefully have a good spot to watch the games with plenty of seating. What was that place we were at last season? That seemed to work well. * After the games, I'm sure we'll find our way to a club or two (gentlemen's or otherwise) Friday * At least for me, this is just as important of a day as Saturday. I'll be up (somewhat) early, and bouncin' from casino to casino, playing some table games. * I believe this is the best time for WCOFF groups to split off and strategize. FM&G guys, we need to set up a pow-wow spot. Saturday * I assume those that aren't drafting will set up shop at the sportsbook or a bar to watch games and get updates on draft. College football galore. * After the draft, maybe a group dinner? Definitely hittin' da clubs that night. Sunday * Should we just plan on our "secret" spot? It's kind of become a tradition. * Those that are staying until Monday might want to figure out another spot to watch the Sunday night game. Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Notes - Thursday - Talked to bier yesterday, and I know he really wants to hit up Hofbrau House this year so we thougth that may be a good spot for the Thursday game. Other than that totally free. Friday - Agree about powWow session. I however have dinner plans for my cousins 21st birthday so, once I have confirmed the time of that, figure I am gone for the night. Sat - Agreed.. MGM has a good poker room. If we have enough, perhaps we could talk the floor into giving us a "private" table of sorts to hang at, watch the college games and get updates. Depending on my cousin;s plans, may visit with family a bit this day as well as I am not drafting. Sun - yes, this is my plan at this point. darin3
I was thinking Hofbrau for Friday lunch or dinner, or even Saturday dinner. I think that spot we were at last year would be a better option for Thursday game. Edited August 6, 2009 by darin3

twiley
Have fun guys, sorry I can't make it but look at it this way, your probability for making it out of Vegas alive went up big time w/o me there. All I ask is that someone do the twiley WCOFF breakfast each morning for me: 6 pack of beer right when you get up 2 bloody mary's 2 red bull and vodkas Hurl 20 mins later on the star trek experience Crack open a beer and repeat for the next 24 hours. Feel free to violate a penguin between pulls from your beer. Edited August 6, 2009 by twiley

BillyBalata
I think the name of the place we went to Thursday was called Blondies? Way more then enough tvs. Great beer special that night. It was in some kind of mall I think If we do go there again, I ain't walkin' there this time. I'll take a cab to the front door.

I think it's the ideal spot.

It's at Planet Hollywood "Miracle Mile". That's my vote.
BillyBalata
Yeah, you're wrong. It's at Planet Hollywood "Miracle Mile". That's my vote. That's it. I believe it was like $8 for all the beer you could drink during the game. Walls and walls of tvs. Waitresses in skimpy little cheerleader outfits that were bringing us free shots by the end of the game. I'm game!
