Maybe not for Jerry as he has enough money and not worth it, but if someone around him knows who is not as wealthy, they could make bets or have straw buyers making multiple bets. Not saying it is likely, but certainly plausible. I wonder what their maximum bet is. Edited November 29, 2019 by purplemonster

Wpob
In all honesty, I'd put my money on Peyton Manning as the dark horse. But it will probably be Harbaugh who will be ready to leave Michigan after he loses again to Ohio State and is not playing for a title. Rekroot
James Robert Cooter aka Jim Bob Cooter. Once he is fired by the Lions at end of season, it’s a lock Jerrah will sign him.

He's now the rb coach for the jets.

Same reason Bill Cowher isn't, neither one is interested in leaving the TV world to be under the microscope again. It was the same with Chucky until just the right deal came along. Also Billick just wasn't that good, his lifetime record as a head coach is 80-64, 55%, two of his final 3 seasons were below .500. And he's now been out of coaching over 10 years. Also the trend is towards younger (or first time) coaches, and away from retreads.
