Skippy Posted June 2, 2005 Share Posted June 2, 2005 I won two leagues last year. One had Manning. The one without Manning had me starting probably six different QB's thoughout the season. Guys like Delhomme, Plummer, Roethlisberger where hard weekly choices for me but I really seemed to pick them right in that league. Manning did make winning the other league a lot easier though. Played against, and beat Peyton in the playoffs (the guy also had Harrison). Luckily, it was the week that they played the Ravens. Watched that game hoping that they wouldn't combine for 33 points in our scoring system and they didn't. Probably the most nerve-racking scenario that FF has thrown my way! No real studs but a consistent performing team that always scored well. Didn't have to make 1 transaction all year. The team I won with was the team I auctioned at draft. I didn't have manning in any of my leagues, but did have Cpep in the four that went to the SB. Only had LT in one league, and I think that is the one I finished 3rd in. The other w/ CMar, Mushin, DDavis, and some over acheivers in the later weeks. That one surprised everyone, including me. No Manning or LT in any.
