Seahawk37
Kelly Herndon is not at all a bad nickel back!!!! Dyson's the starter, and I honestly think he's a better cover guy than Lucas, which may be more beneficial with our lack of pass-rush than Lucas' run stopping skills. I don't know, I freakin loved Ken Lucas though. 892662 Ken Lucas will be missed, Everyone loved him. But Marcus Trufant is gonna lead the D this year! Swampnuts
Kid- In comparison to the Hawks the Colts are NOT overrated. I'm a Hawks fan and I've got a homer's heart when it comes to them, but you've got to put up rational points and arguments.

Seahawk37
Someone on ESPN said the Cardinals are a threat in the NFC West and people watching said it sounded cool and they keep saying it. The Cardinals suck I dont see how people think their gonna do good. WOW they sign Huff big deal. Everyone thinks its Rams and Cardinals But I will bet anyone here that the hawks win the west. devilwoman
Good god children, what do we have here!?!!?? I gotta admit ol 37 has been crampin my style a little bit, but just ignore him. He then will have two choices--think a while and make some intelligent statements, or become bored enough of being ignored that he disappears. Oh boy. First of all, even with Denny Green, the Arizona Cardinals are still the Arizona Cardinals. At least til they find a QB and more studs on defense. They might have something in Harrington, but who knows. Starting Kurt Warner just holds their offense back a year. On the other hand, their defense is very aggressive and they fly to the ball, but they're just another playmaker or two away yet. It took a while for me to come to this, but I think the Hawks might really be ready mentally for a good year. I think Hasselbeck is going to be absolutely in love with his new 4-deep receiving corps. They'll be able to think with him and hopefully hang onto a couple of em'. The defense, however, I'm quite skeptical of. I think the biggest key to their success is a healthy Grant Wistrom. I don't think I don't recall seeing him play last year. I like Dyson at corner, and I love Jamie Sharper. The reason I am horrified is that the Seahawks of all NFL teams should know how bad it can get if you have a subpar MLB. Isiaih Kazczyvenski anyone??? Last in NFL defense in just about every category, almost to historic proportions!!! And we're gonna throw the job to a guy that was projected to be a 4th round pick!?!?! Holy Tatupu!! NFL football is more about team attitude than anything else. The top half of the teams in the league all have relatively equal talent. The teams that go deep in the playoffs are those that have the attitude and confidence to enforce their talent on their opponents. By discarding the bad eggs (Koren and Simmons), I firmly believe the Seahawks have acquired something that won't show up on any free agent or players dropped lists. The Seahawks are gonna take somebody out in the playoffs and then at least make it a heckuva game in the second round. They're finally on their way to doing this thing right and are going to grow with this season and take even that next step into the immediate future. 889701 My optimistic Seahawk self thinks they will make it to the playoffs this season and beyond, but my realistic self thinks the Defense is still missing something...Grant can't do it all on the line and in order for the Seahawks to be successful they need a healthy pass rush. Special teams is another concern. Not so much on kick returns, although a threatening return specialist would be a plus, but on coverage...it seemed pretty lack-luster last year. My last concern is the receiving core. I dont worry about DJax, but for me the others are all a big question mark. I don't think we will be any worse than last year, but as teams in the division improve in talent so must the Seahawks. I do agree that a definate attitude change must be present this season. I have never seen a team so non-fired up as the Seahawks were last year....they seemed to play alot of the season with no heart or better yet a defeatest attitude...that has got to change. Perhaps the new talent coming to the team will get these guys fired up. I just want to see these guys get fired up and kick some A$$ this year. I'd even like to see one of the guys get into Holmgrens face a time or two to get him fired up!!! Time will tell.

Trufant, Boulware, and Hamlin are also going to bring some leadership. Our Offense is going to have more confidence after the great way our offesne played last year even with our receivers hands. I Guarentee we win our division. The Cards are still the Cards and suck Even Trent Dilfer beat them last year. The 49ers are terrible still. The Rams are coached by Mike Martz so thats a reason why their not gonna win, and the Rams just suck overall so The Seahawks will easily win the division. The Seahawks arent even a average team as some people say The Seahawks are a Super Bowl contendor. We fired our special teams coach after last season That was the first thing we did. So were gonna do better on special teams. so we'll see. Lets go HAWKS! Read the signature

They are very competent in their air attack so I dont think it will be easy getting past them twice. I am rooting for our secondary to play all 4 quarters this year instead of 3/4 of a game. I hope we the Lambies!!
