The Grey Pilgrim
I won one of the 3 leagues I annually play in. Gotta give some props to The Huddle, and the rest of the Huddlers, particularly help from Hook at the end with some inside info on the Colts. Actually, it was a very low scoring Super Bowl, as neither of our teams did particularly well. QB Brees RB Rice RB MJD (my keeper. I traded Gore and Schaub for MJD just before the season started) WR Ward WR Mason WR Burleson (played Avery the last week) TE Olsen (played Finley the last few weeks) K Stover (played Feeley the last week) DL A. Capt. Stanky
I'm a few days late. League Guidelines: 10 team 10 player keeper. 2 QB PPR league. QB's Rivers VY (drafted in the last round of the draft. It allowed me to trade Romo and Forte for AP and GOlsen) Palmer RB's MJD AP F-Jax Lynch WR's AJ Welker SSmith (NYG) Braylon TE ODaniels JFinley Olsen I went 11-3 in the regular season. All 3 playoff games in this league were decided on Monday night. It was my 2nd championship in this league in its 10 year existence. I built this team through trades, FA and good drafts over the last 2 seasons. The only 2 players on my team now from 2 seasons ago are Palmer & Braylon. I went from last place (last year) to the champion. It feels good.
BeachBum
OK, I'll play. In my OLD Company League, 12-team redraft, suffered through LT, LJ, and Calvin early, but in the end played: Rodgers Ray Rice Beanie Wells Deshaun Jackson Steve Smith (NYG) Robt Meachem Dallas Clark Arizona D Kris Brown Won the finals 108 to 104. Had to suffer through another gut wrenching Monday Night - Greg Olsen scores TD in 1st quarter, putting him only 5 or 6 points behind. Another TD and I'm done. Luckily it never came. Somehow I was torn between wanting you to win and hoping you would lose so that the guy holding another of my leagues funds could afford to pay out. As it turns out he never intended to pay so the winners are being payed out of the commish and co-commishes pockets. Live and learn. I know i have learned that I will never join another league the The Champ is in and will question joining one where he has apologists! Just so we have no misunderstanding I am the co-commish that is helping to make sure the winners are payed OUT OF MY POCKET!

TheBigE
The Pebble Creek Panthers finally win a CBFFL championship. I've been a member of the Huddle for 10 or more years now and always have one for the strongest teams in the league. I finally was able to put it all together and win the championship. I've had many seconds places but never first. Being a Vikings fan for so long I know how hard it is to win a Superbowl and finally I finally broke through in CBFFL Superbowl XIV... Big Ernie McCracken
Your local must be really competitive. Congo rats on the win. In one of my locals, I've won four of seven years. I feel a little bad about it, so at next year's draft, I'm donating this year's winning money to the live draft's food/beer fund. Very, very competitive and thanks

Bengal Mania
Back to Back, and 4th time in 6 years WK 17 Championship (sucks) had some mystery early, but was put away before end of 4PM games. High score in week 16 semi's among all playoff teams. Won the championship, but also beat consolation teams. 12-team keeper (mine was Chris Johnson, pickied him over holdover keeper of ADP, that was the right choice!) Usual lineup (with note about week 17 play due to resting) QB - McNabb - stellar all year, it turns out his tank in final was of no consequence RB1 - Chris Johnson - obvious MVP, very satisfactory in final RB2 - Ced Benson all year, kudos to RWilliams for tremendous spot duty. Final had JHarrison crack the lineup.....nice play! FYI - JH's huge weeks were on my bench, but I couldn't complain. Beanie Wells and Donald Brown sat for their first year in the (FFL) league WR1 - Moss - great year. Played him over Mike Wallace in final because he started. Average game, it was enough WR2 - LFitz - decent, not great yar. Benched him as soon as Vikings got up by 20, knowing he wouldn't play. Inserted Jabar Gaffney, who I picked up early in morning, that worked out!......................THIS IS WHY THE HUDDLE IS THE BEST, Free Agent Forecast may be the most useful (of many) articles. TE - Gates, take a seat. Picked up Zack Miller for final, nice job! K - no one cares. Picked up Jay Feeley just to have someone to root for in night game if needed. It turns out i could have rested him too. DEF - Ravens and Bengals led me to 2nd in DEF points for year, Ravens did good enough in final. Won a couple hundred bucks from all the various payouts............as per usual, I will take that to the local riverboat blackjack table, and either pass it on, or help it breed. (last year my FFL winnings went at it like horny rabbits at the blackjack table) Congrats to all other winners! Personally, I'd trade it all for a Bengals Superbowl
