Chief
I see Detroit winning this one at home 33-13 or something similar. If this was at your turf I wouldn't be saying anything, but better team, better attitude, I think Detroit will come out fired up and with Minn having no offense other than AP , don't see how we can lose this game unless your D scores 4 td's for ya, again........... Still remember last years game, unfortunately.
Hugh 0ne
A Lions fan talking smack? Priceless. Vikes 77 - Lions 2.
Robash
lion's def good enough to get a safety?
Big Score 1
lion's def good enough to get a safety? No. That 2 points comes from the Vikes being back near their endzone, Tarvaris misshandles the snap & it bounces out the back of the endzone. Safety given to the Lions, not earned. The Holy Roller
Not a Lions fan by a long shot but I see danger here for Minnesota as well. If the Lions can score first and get a lead what will the Vikes have to do to stay with them? If the Vikes score first then it's a different story. Ten loses in a row to the same team has to end sometime doesn't it, Lion's fans?

We have been thinking this for years........50 years of futility has to end sometime, doesn't it?............so far, not so much. I do like the Lions at home this week though. Egret
I also think the Lions will win today. Unfortunately the Vikings strength (running with AP) is a weakness for the Lions. The Lions had a hard time stopping Oakland from running the ball. If the Lions can avoid long runs from AP, they could bottle them up inside the twenty. Shaun Rogers will need to have another big game. The Vikings weakness (pass defense) is also the Lions strength. The Lions should be able to pass the ball on the Vikings. The pass rush for the Vikings will cause a couple of turnovers. Tatum Bell will have few yards on traditional rushes, but can have success with draws and screens. The Lions are finally deep enough at WR to let Roy get covered and still be able to pass. This should be a high scoring game with the Lions as the winner. Chavez
...50 years of futility has to end sometime, doesn't it?...... Well, if you ask the Red Sox, White Sox, or Chicago Cubs, you've got quite a stretch of futility to go.
MikesVikes
Do the Lions have a chance? Yes Will they win? Probably not. As a Vikings fan, I hate the fact that they have to bring up how many straight wins that the Vikes have over the Lions. That's some bad Karma. The Vikes will be better on offense this year and not just because of Yo Adrian.

KG4MVP
I'm not sure which team will pull this out, but I would hate to be the over/under on the game. Is there anyway to bet the straddle? Depending on if Minny D or Detroit O shines, it will go either under 20 or over 50 points combined. Under 21, Minny wins, over 42 Detroit wins. gbpfan1231
Question - are all the Viking fans young people? I find it hard to believe that any Vikimng fan would be over 20 years old? Would you not have committed suicide by now?

Doc Holliday
I don't think we can win today myself. I think we are still a bad team and people don't realize the Vikings are actually good. That being said..I love your enthusiasm and hope you are right.
