Brentastic Posted September 28, 2005 Share Posted September 28, 2005 OFF means there is some uncertainty around the situation that is preventing the odds makers from setting a line, typically an injury to a key player. I'm guessing the odds makers are concerned about Leftwich, McNabb, and obviously the NYJ QB situation ... thus those games are off the board and not eligible for betting. If you will note in the rules if you pick one of the teams OFF the board it will count as a loss. The pick 'em means the odds makers have decided they will get as many bets on each team straight up with no line.
