ABearWithFurniture
Good info here. As an aside, Rick Neilsen is the only vaguely famous person who has been eating in the same restaurant at the same time as me, as far as I know. 1445451 'She's Tight' is one of the best rock songs ever... Thews40
10. Foreigner9. Stryper 8. Limp Bizkit 7. Styx 6. Molly Hatchet 5. Poison 4. Journey 3. Loverboy 2. REO Speedwagon 1. Starship 1445046 White Lion I saw Journey at Red Rocks in the front row about 5 years ago. Steve Perry was replaced with a clone, but it was an awesome show. Peter Frampton opened for them and was phenomenal. A bald old man in leather pants, but he brang it (to quote Neil Diamond). It would have been better if he came out in a wig with blue lighting and started with “Do you feel like we do”, but he was just an old man in leather pants that knows how to play guitar. Journey came out, and since I was in the front row I was about 15 feet from the lead singer. Wearing very tight leather pants, the guy has a mangina. Not that I was looking, because the girl I was with pointed it out, but let’s just say I can see how he hits the high notes.
splotchman
A few more worthy candidates are: Extreme Candlebox (The Grunge "Foreigner"?) Kid Rock The Entire Boy Band Movement (New Kids, Backstreet Boys, etc.) Whitesnake Bryan Adams The Entire "Actor-Singer" Thing - Don Johnson, Patrick Swayze, etc. Europe David Lee Roth (After Van Halen) And the title of the cheesiest band goes to...... "LOVERBOY!" Any dude that wears the matching red leather headband to match the red leather suit, well, enough said.....

tonorator
most of the bands mentioned actually had some great early stuff, only to turn to cheese. journey had lights and feeling that way foreigner had a strong first album and double vision was great bryan adams cuts like a knife was solid styx rocked with blue collar man and renegade hell, even loverboy was strong with turn me loose and the kid is hot tonite and then ... they all went to cheese. they didn't have the character to keep making good music, they had to have hits, and that destroyed them all. no way ac/dc is cheese. give me good ol' rockin' blues any day of the week.
