Goopster24
moral of the story...you dont have to draft a kicker 1450380 That's why Josh Huston from The Ohio State University, now on the Bears, is going to be the next great Pro Bowl kicker in the NFL. gsmayes
They use the term "star" way too loosely.
bushwacked
They use the term "star" way too loosely. 1450434 Sure, but using it with the same looseness, how bout Scottie Vines for the Lions?
MikeTice
The Packers originally signed a lot of these guys. Andruzzi, Chatman, Kaesviharn, Warner, Gado and while they didn't sign him first, they grabbed Longwell off waivers the same year they drafted Conway. Randall
I like the Packer's Jason Hunter just picked up, but Priest? How could everyone miss on him.
Swiss Cheezhead
Some DAMM good players there. And they did use the term "productive NFL career" after using "star" in the title.
DMD
Being on a team with a recognizeable name is a pretty lofty ambition for the undrafted.
pedroz13
I knew some of these guys were undrafted, but Ogunleye and Drew Bennett are new to me. Surprising.....both are borderline 'great' players.
MrTed46
Wayne "Rattled Brain" Curbet
Clubfoothead
That went from "Stars" to "productive" in the 1st sentence.
msaint
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS: Larry Izzo, lb; Randall Gay, cb, Stephen Neal, g. Amazing they forgot the most heralded undrafted Patriot of all.... some guy named Vinatieri.

charty
The Pats have done a good job developing undrafted rookies. Not counting the ones listed for the Pats, there is: Andruzzi - Browns (handful of starts with GB) Vinatieri - Colts Tom Ashworth - Seahawks
broncosn05
Now coming Marcus Vick
gsmayes
Sure, but using it with the same looseness, how bout Scottie Vines for the Lions? 1450446 Haven't you heard? He's history, didn't impress at the mini-camp. The same goes for every other offensive player Martz doesn't have a HUGE hard-on for. I'm sorry Kevin Jones, but that means you too. DMD
How did teams not see the potential of Antonio Gates? 1451079 Because he had not played football in college
Doc Holliday
Because he had not played football in college 1451097 Yeah ,but he declared for the draft and worked out didn't he?

BeeR
moral of the story...you dont have to draft a kicker 1450380 You do if you're the Jets lol @ any team using their 1st pick on PK. Interesting list DMD. Glad you used a broad term like "productive" though, since that widens the list a lot
DMD
Yeah ,but he declared for the draft and worked out didn't he? 1451106 Not sure. He isn't listed in the top 44 TEs in 2003 by Kiper's book. Probably hard to get an invite to the combine when you did not play college football (I think he may had in junior college but he was a basket ball player the last two years).
