Doc Holliday
I have seen worse than 73 yards of offense and a TD and just into the 4th quarter.
SheikYerbuti
I have seen worse than 73 yards of offense and a TD and just into the 4th quarter. Seriously. . .would you rather have drafted 2nd? We'd be talking you off a window ledge right now. Grits and Shins
SJax owners are 2nd guessing their decisions to pass on Addai and Gore right now. Some LJ owners are also groaning that they didn't take Gore
capostatus
yea i'll trade him right now for priest holmes 3.3 ypc aint too good and niners O line isnt helpin much. i expected a good game against the cards
ABearWithFurniture
The 49ers o-line is pretty much non-existent...and the Cardinals are putting 8 men in the box almost every play and blitzing heavily. Not much for Gore to do besides try and block the 5 guys coming through the line.
bushwacked
I thought the "49ers are going to be a great team this season" bandwagon would sour before the Gore kool-aid would.

mitpdub
Gore dropped a few easy passes and was rusty. I also put some responsibility on SF's new OC who called a very conservative game. As long as he holds onto the ball I think he'll just get better. Anyways, it looked like SJax and LJ owners have as much to worry about. fpuma
Gore owners rejoice. 1st and goal at the 1 yard line. I thought the same thing. I thought I was getting a gift when they spotted the ball at the 1. I needed 3.2 more points from Gore. Needless to say I lost. I hate you Romo. Front Row
Thought I had a moster with Gore/Jacobs duo. , Didn't pan out so well in wk 1, at least Gore is still on the field. Edited September 11, 2007 by Front Row
Big Score 1
ugh are you kiddin me......1st and goal from the 1 and ARNAZ FREAKIN BATTLE RUNS IT IN gore wasnt even on the field on the play Well there was only 23 seconds on the clock left & when Nolan spent his last timeout there I knew that #1 it was going to be some kind of gadget / trick play & #2 they wouldn't risk a run with Gore where every single Arizona defender would be key on him. Smart play & good call by Nolan IMO. Suxor the big fat one for us Gore owners though.
fpuma
I agree. It was a good call. I wished they wouldnt have burned that timeout like that. I guess I was thinking gore could have gone over the middle for 1 yard. I know that line would have been stacked.
Furd
Dumbass. Why didn't you draft Chris Brown with your first pick? Now that I think of it, you should call up the Brown owner to see if you can trade Gore for him. Edited September 11, 2007 by Furd
piratesownninjas
+1 Good info here! In all seriousness, Gore didn't have a good game but still mustered up 70 and a TD... I'll take that as a down week any day.

I just find it a bit amusing that a person with a Browns helmet as an icon is complaining about a 70yd/1 TD night from an RB.

Chadman
Comparing last year and this year, Gore vs. Arizona: 11 for 51 (2TD) rushing and 6 for 35 receiving game 1 vs. AR - '06. 16 for 87 (2TD) rushing and 6 for 83 receiving game 2 vs. AR - '06. 18 for 55 (1TD) rushing and 1 for 21 receiving this year. The thing that stands out to me is the difference in passing to Gore this year. That does worry me a bit, moreso than the running, which should be better. Maybe Nolan is thinking of working others into the mix more? I think Arizona's defense is probably better this season.
