Having been burnt by Clayton, I begged off. I want to see a player, or even a team do it two years in a row before I believe. Having said that, I think some players on the Saints are good buy low candidates right now. That offense won't be what it was last year, but it will get better than what it's done so far. The player that I got sucked in on was Simmons.... paid a pretty penny to get him, and he's been a total loss. If he was a car, I'd donate him for the tax write off. I think Colston is a really good receiver. Clayton was hyped before he did anything, being a 1st Round Pick.....Colston wasn't hyped and performed above and beyond, so I'm not seeing the connection. I picked Henderson late, but it was a lot earlier than I picked up Brandon Marshall, it's time to cut my losses with Henderson. The Saints went with 2 young guys in Colston and Henderson and it's probably a mistake. Not sure if they are seasoned enough and have the leadership, experience, etc. to lead a receiving corp. I know it was time to part ways with Horn, but they really should have brought in a veteran (producing) receiver. It was in my local. First week waivers are always a smorgasboard for me because half the league hasn't watched many games and a majority of them didn't pay attention to preseason. I grabbed Ward that week too. I currently have Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, Javon Walker, and Welker as my corp Wrs. They all laughed at me when I went WR, WR, WR in 2-4 but I'm killing them all each week with that arsenal along with Westbrook, Ward, and Romo. Hence the connection. I think Colston is a much better receiver than Clayton. He's just not getting as many opportunities as he did last year. Brees is bad, but the oline may be worse.
