pig devilz
without me getting to detailed into 'weather speak', this link pretty much sums it up thesnow/rain line is not definable still, but the most likely track will be rain for the game http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_...n_may_be_s.html Foxboro is south of Boston, between Boston and Providence
ROYALWITCHEESE
After an epic traffic jam and political backbiting, somebody may have decided that Boston wasn’t ready for another blast of winter. The fierce northeaster taking aim at New England Sunday is now expected to swing north, sparing Boston from brunt storm. Churning up from Louisiana, the storm is expected to pummel northern New England with up to two feet of snow and 50-mile-an-hour wind gusts. But the winter storm watch, which goes into effect Saturday night, does not include from Boston south to Providence. "Although this area will undoubtedly have a nasty day of snow and sleet changing to a pelting rain in the afternoon ... snow amounts are not likely to exceed 6 inches," according to the latest forecast issued by the National Weather Service in Taunton. While meteorologists are still trying to pinpoint the demarcation line between snow and rain, it appears that Boston will be more wet than white. It should be very different than the 10 inches of snow that paralyzed the city Thursday. Starting before dawn Sunday, snow should change to rain early in the day. Sweet! The Brady to Moss train will be rolling! Edited December 14, 2007 by ROYALWITCHEESE

pig devilz
Freezing rain? the proverbial 'wintery mix'....and it could come down pretty heavy at times during the game. the temperatures that matter most, in a storm like this, are the temps aloft, but enough 'warm' air will filter in at ground level to produce a rain/sleet mix... its very tricky....the storm is on a track to go over land and pull in warmer ocean air, if it tracks 50 miles east, over the ocean, it would be all snow pulling in cold air from the north.. most comp. models are showing the mix scenario by game time..... Gdawg
50-60 MPH winds (according to Weaher Channel)are the tough part. THE WINDS are what matter. A little rain, a little snow, no big deal....but a blinding blizzard or a driving rainstorm, now that could be a real problem...

That sort of weather makes me think Heath Evans would be a nice start, in a non PPR league.

pig devilz
Storm Impacts on Sunday Football Updated: Saturday, December 15, 2007 8:20 AM Four key National League Football games will take place across the Northeast Sunday, when the major nor'easter is pounding the region. The storm's howling winds could have an effect on the passing and kicking aspects of each game. The games in Cleveland and Pittsburgh, starting at 1 p.m. EST, will be played in the snow. By the time the game is coming to an end, the ground in Cleveland will be covered by 6 to 12 inches. The other two games across the Northeast will fare better in terms of snow. With warmer air pouring into southern New England, any snow or ice pellets that start the day in Foxboro, Mass., should changed over to rain before 1 p.m., when the Patriots host the Jets. Rain will also soak the Meadowlands Sunday, but should be over by the time the Redskins take on the Giants at 8:15 p.m. Story by AccuWeather.com Meteorologist Kristina Bake -the combo of snow and a Big Ben sore shoulder make me my playoff opponent is starting him and has no decent backup.... I wouldn't be so sure yet if I were you about using the dancing pickle and being happy about Big Ben not doing well tomorrow. I think Ben carries the team tomorrow as FWP probably won't have too much success and the Jags can be thrown on.
