rai
great ! Â I have Vick and AP not sure how this effects AP with a longer time to heal should be better just with all other games being over I may have to look at some WW back-ups from those teams to plug in if P is a scratch. giantsfan
Totally ridiculous. Tuesday. Now I have to sit here and wait for his McCoy until Tuesday. Totally ridiculous. This league is becoming a joke. They flex a terrible game to start with. And now they skip Monday and go ALLLLLL the way to Tuesday. JOKE!!! BS Miscreant
I'm sure the game is moving to Tuesday due a combination of the weather Monday and television.
DMD
Wish they could have stayed with a Monday. Now I may have to delay bringing out the week 17 Predictions and Projections since they would come out only a matter of hours after the final game of the previous week? Probably not going to happen. Pope Flick
Tuesday makes sense. If the weather is SO bad that they're shutting down the city that's not something that gets fixed inside a day. Imagine if they rescheduled for Monday and had to cancel again. Dual MNF games has nothing to do with it. The city's closed today, and cleans itself up tomorrow, assuming the storm is finished. Â You guys with the pussification of the league stuff are FUNNY. The mayor is telling people to stay indoors after 2pm today. The roads to the stadium are closed which means the teams might not be able to make it to the stadium. Cripes people, there are things more important, like public safety, than a f ing football game. Â On second thought, let's get tens of thousands of people stuck at a stadium. That's a great idea. whomper
The NFL that many of us grew up knowing and loving is long dead and long gone. Bunch of primadonna pussies playing for a pussified league
NavinRJohnson
TV rules the day. The MNF game has to be delivered to a national audience without a national NFL game against it...and the Sunday night game has the same primetime TV luxury. Next time to play the NBC SNF game is Tues Night. Â I agree this is a joke and it opens a can or worms that the league should NOT get in to... keggerz
I'm sure the game is moving to Tuesday due a combination of the weather Monday and television. It is all about TV...weather won't be a factor...especially with the storm starting early afternoon on Sunday...no commuters etc....plenty of time to get venue ready for Monday night....lovely the Eagles now get a short week to prep for the Cowboys in week 17...especially since the 2 seed could be on the line

peoplehater
they do have to get all of that snow out of the stadium . . . it hasn't even started snowing there yet according to live feed I saw . . . Its been snowing for about an hour now here in philly. the game is changed to tuesday because NBC does not want to share the game night. the nfl isnt really to blame for this or anyone for that matter. its all about safety. they dont want 60,000 people stuck at the game. That's a great idea.  No doubt...there are some idiots that felt it wouldn't be manly to cancel the game tonight, that don't understand the danger of trying to get 60,000 to a in-the-scope-of-things meaningless football game, and then try to get them home.  Pretty much the no-brainer decision I felt all along

BeachBum
But the real question is: what do MFL and other scoring sites about it? Will they hold up official scoring until this game is over? Can they easily change their software to do so? Maybe we should throw out all stats from this game for the week?
