BeeR
Colonel? lol - that either. Really, half of all freakin words apply. Well maybe not, but it often seems that way. English is loaded with em too. Gallagher (comedian) used to do bits on this - eg check out words spelled like "comb" yet don't ryhme - bomb, tomb, etc. Edited March 5, 2011 by BeeR

CaP'N GRuNGe
The english language doesn't have to be so diffikult. Let's start by getting rid of the the letter C. It isn't needed as the letters K and S kan take its plase. Edited March 5, 2011 by CaP'N GRuNGe

ETA: Then you also have words like - Chair, Chase, Choose, Chicken, Chorhizo, Choke, Champagne, Champion, Cherry, Cheese, Checkers, Chocolate, Chow, Chortle, Cheese, Chuck, Church, Chewbacca, Chew, Chestnut, Chest, Chandelier, Chinook, China, Chink, Chevrolet, Chevelle, Choo-Choo, Chat, Cherish, Check, Charleston, Charles, Champinones, Chili, Chill, Chapel, Chaste, Chastity, Chain, Chaperone, Child, Cheek, etc...
