Colonel?

lol - that either.

Really, half of all freakin words apply. Well maybe not, but it often seems that way. English is loaded with em too. Gallagher (comedian) used to do bits on this - eg check out words spelled like "comb" yet don't ryhme - bomb, tomb, etc.

The english language doesn't have to be so diffikult. Let's start by getting rid of the the letter C. It isn't needed as the letters K and S kan take its plase.

I have to disagree, I have a Turkish friend named Kunt that could cause some major problems if the "C" were to go away.

ETA:

Then you also have words like - Chair, Chase, Choose, Chicken, Chorhizo, Choke, Champagne, Champion, Cherry, Cheese, Checkers, Chocolate, Chow, Chortle, Cheese, Chuck, Church, Chewbacca, Chew, Chestnut, Chest, Chandelier, Chinook, China, Chink, Chevrolet, Chevelle, Choo-Choo, Chat, Cherish, Check, Charleston, Charles, Champinones, Chili, Chill, Chapel, Chaste, Chastity, Chain, Chaperone, Child, Cheek, etc...

Chorhizo, Champagne, Chandelier, Chinook, Chevrolet, Chevelle, Champinones, Chaperone
