tonorator
Titanic, when the old couple is shown cuddling each other as their stateroom fills with water. as corny as this movie was, i do lose it when the mom is reading the story to her kids in the bed knowing they are all about to die ... Capt Skinman
The end of The Graveyard of Fireflies. If you aren't into anime, you most likely have never seen it, but it is gut-wrenching. Great call. I love this movie. It is especially hard to watch if you have little ones of your own.

Speaking of Jack Lemmon, "Roommates" is a sad one.

jaxfactor
Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most.....*lipquiver* human. Classic. It even made Saavic the Vulcan chick shed a tear. Brian's song is hands down the one that really got me. Also the defense attorney's(Matthew McConaughey)closing argument in A Time To Kill describing what the 2 rednecks did to the little girl. I would have killed the mofos for sure if that was my daughter.
jaxfactor
Of all the souls I have encountered in my travels, his was the most.....*lipquiver* human. Also the scene before that when Spock dies. Puts his hand to the glass(the live long and prosper sign) and tells Kirk, "I have been and always shall be your friend"

TheShiznit
I forget the name of the movie...."The Greatest Game Ever Played"...the story about Francis Oiumet playing Harry Vardon. Francis was missing work...his dad was a laborer in the mines and he looked down upon Francis' dream....but in the end when he won his dad was in the crowd showing praise to his son...that was touching....as a competitive golfer in my days past....i shed a brief tear....who am I kidding...I bawled!!!! cre8tiff
Great call. I love this movie. It is especially hard to watch if you have little ones of your own. Try No One Knows. Not anime, but Japanese, and equally wrenching.
