muck
I avoid names the end it "O'. It is hard for puppies to learn the difference between Otto and NO for example. ...interesting observation... Duly noted.
darin3
For once, I should have been an option in a poll. Our dog's name is somewhat close.

cre8tiff
We got a dog, and I wanted to call him Odell. But the family voted and he became Martin. So, I side with you on the likely failing cause of the name "Jelly"
Big John
Jelly would be a name for Donutrun Jellies' pet, but his cats have other names.
Square
I have a half bulldog half lab mix, so it is a similar (but smaller) animal to yours. I wanted to name him Pudge (or Pudgy) and my wife vetoed it at the time. Unfortunately I let her pick the dogs name. Now we call him Fats, chubby fats, Fat dog, or pudge most the time instead of his real name . It makes more sense when the animal is full grown, but you have to remember that dog might be 100lbs in 10 months. So I wouldn't shy away from a large dog name since the little puppy thing goes pretty quick. Pudge, Jelly, or Fats are good names for large chubby dogs with wrinkles IMO. muck
I...you have to remember that dog might be 100lbs in 10 months. He should be bigger than that at 10 months ... and I don't expect him to be very chubby. Muck's dog? MD for short? "Doc" could be an option. In keeping with the mask theme Ranger aka Lone Ranger or Ninja Ranger is a common name ... ninja on the other hand ...
