DMD
But no set date yet. Just called the NFL offices and they confirmed mid to late April but they have not decided exactly when. That does ensure a 16 game season and should get it out before the NFL draft so it is business as usual all except for the part about having players. I don't think this necessarily means the owners have conceded the point though. I doubt they would have jumped right into an 18 game schedule even if it went through. Maybe by the 2012 season or some such. Edited April 8, 2011 by rajncajn

Jackass
Giants full schedulehttp://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2011/04..._season_vs.html that's one of the stranger schedules i've seen. all of their easy games are in the first half, with 3 easy home games broken up by a bye. then the 2nd half is just brutal. they could easily start 7-1 and be lucky to finish with 9 or 10 wins. Shorttynaz
I know there's a whole thread about it already, but I still find it weird that after week 9, all but 4 teams will have had their byes. Week 10 is a full slate of games, then week 11 is the last 4 team's byes.
MikesVikes
I like how some teams have to travel 24000 miles during the year and the Titans only have to travel 7000 and also have one of the easiest schedules.

Big John
How does a team like JAX get 2 Monday night games while a better Steelers team only has 1 When ESPN took over MNF, it became what SNF was. So now SNF has the premiere games and the Steelers are represented there.
myhousekey
Two years in a row for the Saints to open the season on a Thursday night. And that makes 3 of the last 5 years they've played in the opener. Gotta like the fact that 5 of the last 6 games will be indoors for the Saints. bpwallace49
Packers have 2 Thursday night games (Saints/Lions) 3 Sunday Night games, and one Monday Night Football game. I love it!!
