tbimm
So far the Bad guys are Capn' Grunge, Cheifftan Mike, Clubfoothead, Fatman, Godtomsatan, Waterman, Wolverines Fan, Pope Flick, Squigebo, Los Gigantes and Selly. The good guys are jgcoach, savage beatings, tbimm, Todd1, Twiley, Rhippens, KCmast, I Like Soup, Lady Hawke, Rellen 13 and myself. That makes 11 communists and 10 god loving, pure hearted Americans. This Beaumont guy was the 12th person to volunteer for the pink team. I'm a little bit skeptical about the guy, so Luke Davenport will probably get the last spot with the satan worshipers. Unless you guys feel like this Beaumant guy is legit, Big John and I Like Soup think he's OK but I'm still not buying it. 646495 I think he seems ok? Maybe kind of the peeping tom sort but he did pick his side right away so put him in.

Ursa Majoris
Ok you got one but, I agree with Todd1, don't all you Dems. watch soccer. Football is a little barbaric for you leftwing sissy's, isn't it? 645649 If you'd ever played soccer to any reasonable standard, you'd think twice about statements like that. Dr. Sacrebleu
Just a few thoughts for you J Johnnies: 1) great idea, that had indeed been discussed before. Sort of a shame you didn't get this going at thetailgate where only the rabid politico-footballists hang out. (haven't seen half of the participants listed in any political discussions at the tailgate) 2) since this contest is to pit dems vs repubs I think you need a different format for the season. After all having the first time dems and repubs actually come into contact with each other all year be the superbowl kind of negates the whole rivalry thing. Have either 2 repubs and 2 dems per division (or 4 and 4, or whatever works) and see who comes out for the playoffs. Or make it uniquely a points league etc... Gloating, and smack talk are essential to make this work. so make sure there is lots of bitterness festering throughout the season, not just for the last game of the season, when all other members have packed it in. 3) best of luck. sounds fun..... I will take a serious look at your suggestions, you have some good ideas. I was alson thinking about having the winners play each other, runners up's play each other, 3rd place finishers, etc.

Maybe we'll see another attempt at this in the Tailgate....

Jumpin Johnies
The final spot in the Deamoncrats League is Beaumont. I believe the guy's legit and he did ask before Luke Davenport. Luke is apparently a very opinionated liberal so his presence will be missed. He is first in line on the liberal waiting list followed by Slayer. I still need two fun loving Republicans to join me in the Coalition of the Winning.
