theeohiostate
Can anyone remember a team that had this many great young wide outs? Williams, Williams, and Rogers :bigshock: With Kevin Jones If they can get their QB on track, this team will be the next generation of the "Greatest show on turf" Congrats to all the Lions Homers, your team is coming full circle. Puddy
I'm perplexed by this pick. Too much money tied up at that position. I'm hoping they trade his rights in the next few picks...
Savage Beatings
Now we get the fun of predicting which one of those guys to take first in our Fantasy drafts. In one or two years, if these guys are all healthy and still playing for Detroit, holy moly that will be scary!

Egret
The Lions must not have thought too highly of the defensive players that were available.
Ursa Majoris
Joey's going earlier in fantasy drafts than he would have done.......just like Kerry Collins.

Williams, Williams, and Rogers :bigshock: With Kevin Jones If they can get their QB on track, this team will be the next generation of the "Greatest show on turf" Congrats to all the Lions Homers, your team is coming full circle. 791181 See, the problem here is, Joey Harrington is no Kurt Warner. He resembles Bulger only in interceptions. Plus, the best offensive threat on the team, Kevin Jones, runs far better when he's got a FB and a TE blocking for him... which means that there would only be two WR on the field. So do you limit your run game to use your first round pick, or do you let your first round pick rot on the bench to continue having a relatively good running game? That's a fine quandry to be in if you're the NE Patriots, but Detroit has sizable holes to fill on defense. Williams may have been a "value" pick according to Mel Kiper, but this is not a good fit with the Lions.
Perchoutofwater
It was a good pick. Rogers is so fragile, he'll probably be out of a job in a year or two. Roy Williams will be the best receiver on the team. He was leading all rookies and was top 5 in the league, until his ankle injury, and showed a lot playing on it the way that he did. Mike Williams is alot like another USC alum, Keyshawn, he will be a great possession receiver, but Roy Williams will be the play maker. Unless there's some information that the Lions have kept to themselves, Rogers should be good to go.

cheezhed
OK Joey........It's time to make the donuts!! Unless they really want to keep those 3 rookies and 3 vets on the team.

theeohiostate
How long if any does it take Mike Williams to take the spot from Rogers and puch him to the slot? I think he starts the season as a starter.

I think he starts the season as a starter. 791662 Mike Williams will not be the slot guy. He may not start, but in 3 WR sets, either Chuck or Roy will play the slot. They've both got way more speed than Mike.
