cheezhed
End of round 3 and Sproles is still on the block........thought he would be gone by now.
CaptainHook
It's because of his size. He'll go tommorrow. Edited April 24, 2005 by CaptainHook
Perchoutofwater
I'm not suprised at all. He will probably end up making someone a good third down back, but not much more. Think Kevin Faulk.

CaptainHook
Warrick Dunn was the 12th pick of the first round by the Buccaneers in '97.

Chargerz
The Chargers need a good return man. I could see him in a Bolt Uniform!
Dr. Rock
Giants pick 12th in the 4th round, have grabbed a CD and DL, which were their two biggest needs, and still need a RB behind Tiki. I could see them taking him...
seminoles
The big guy from Wisconsin is still there. Whoever gets him tomorrow should conisider it a steal at some level. Also Orton and i believe McPherson are still there. Tomorrow should be interesting.
broncosn05
Too small IMO.
Swampnuts
A quality player for whoever gets him. Size is overrated. ( Unless you ask my wife ) Â Dave Meggett and Joe Washington had good careers for guys that were supposed to be too small.
gilthorp
Eric Metcalf with more push on the point of attack. He's going to excel in ST's and will play for several years. Multi purpose player for any team that goes after him tomorrow.

Big John
The Cowboys took Barber, the Giants took Jacobs, and the Vikes took Fason over Sproles. Edited April 24, 2005 by Big John
SteelBunz
At the very least....Sproles would be an excellent return guy.

muck
Good football player on a team on the upswing. Plus, a local kid to boot! Â Anyone wanna think about what (if anything) this does to LT's rather prodigious receiving totals of the past few years?
Riffraff
Al Smith went on the record of saying they will take a return specialist type player in teh draft. They just happened to draft a good one.
Chargerz
Anyone wanna think about what (if anything) this does to LT's rather prodigious receiving totals of the past few years? 791975[/snapback] Sproles will step into all the roles vacated by Dwight, but his immediate impact will be felt primarily in the return game, not as a third-down WR. LT's receiving numbers fell off last year with the emergence of Gates, and as Sproles learns the wide receiver position, he will also cut into LT's receiving numbers (not alot though). Overall, this will make the offense more versatile with the addition of more targets in the passing game!!!
