chinatown dragons Posted December 17, 2007 Share Posted December 17, 2007 yup, first year i joined two leagues, and going to the Super Bowl in BOTH of them with less than stellar lineups......was helped by facing Brady in one game yesterday and Romo in the other...!!! big concern for me is lack of production from Addai........44 yards....against oakland????? dont most backs get that at halftime against them? In the other I'm already in with AP going tonight. I still have a shot in my other two leagues but need some luck. Down by 35 I have AP and MInn, he has Chi. I am down 35.92. I have ADP Left. I can not make both SBs, but by those marks I am guaranteed to make one. 3) Local league. I am up 28.54 points. He has Adrian Peterson (CHI) and Bears DST. Fortunately, my opponent's Tom Brady and Wes Welker combined for 14.45 points. Keith Bulluck and Jason Taylor came alive at the right time. And in another stroke of fortune, my SB opponent may be without Fargas (but picked up Rhodes), Addai (who could sit, and I have Keith), Hasselbeck will face a decent Raven secondary, Holt against PIT and facing a rather average IDP squad. I have Romo (expecting him to play), Parker, Stecker (sitting Henry for him as I should have done this week), AJohnson, Fitz, Evans, Engram. IDP is solid with Beason, Bulluck, Brackett, Taylor, Peppers, Sanders and Huff. Edit: I went 9-4 in the regular season (3rd seed in playoffs). 4th in overall points. Just a bad game, with Welker and the lack of a viable flex player (ended up with Kevin Faulk but really wouldn't have mattered) killing me - my 2nd lowest score of the whole damn year and happens in the most important week.... kickers play Posted December 18, 2007 Share Posted December 18, 2007 WOW, before Romo , Barber, Witten, Folk took the field my team in my sig had a 10 point lead with Addai, Longwell, Indy DEF, etc I might be a little off about who played when, but I pulled the miracle with a 2.6 point lead going into tonight. Minny def verse Longwell. HHis def started with 10 points and lost most of them because of my M.V.P Tavaris Jackson who's short fields allowed Orton to put 13 points on the board, and who only took one sack, one int!!! Longwell had to 40+ FG's for 8 points and in the end I won by 11.6!!! It was in fact a miracle with Brady, Addai, Housch, Winslow, Indy DEF, Magahee all barely contributing. What a week!!!
