drbob Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Made the playoffs in both of my leagues. ECB--3rd seed. 8-5 Doing it with smoke and mirrors. (4 wins by less than 6 points; 2 wins by less than 2 points) Local got the 6th (last seed) at 6-7 winning the tie breakers among 3 teams. Figured I was done when I was 4-6 so I traded away Brees for Slaton and a draft pick for next year(keeper league). He threw in Cassel and I threw in Sproles so we wouldn't have to make WW pickups to meet roster requirements. We meet this week in the playoffs. pokerboss Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 local redraft - won division in playoffs DW - won division #2 seed in playoffs, highest scoring team DW2 - no playoff, but i was 3rd highest scoring team in entire league DW3 - won division, top seed in playoffs, top scoring team by 25 per game GMX - wildcard at 10-3, top scoring team in league ATAP - Huddle Ladder - not clinched yet, but looks like i will be in playoffs, Hall of Fame division, second highest scoring team overall an good yr, but the playoffs will determine how good Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Big Country Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Faultline - Won my division at 7-6 - making playoffs though it was ugly MSHB - Nope.. needed a miracle over the last two weeks and it missed. CORE - We finish next week. 3-way tie for first in our division at 10-3. The other 2 10-3 teams play each other. Basically, a win and I am in, a loss and I likely will lose on tiebreakers. As a complete FF newbie until a day before my draft, I'll call making the playoffs a big success. Had to overcome some bad draft decisions due to poor understanding of the rules. Worked trades and the waiver wire to the point that only 3 of my drafted players remain on my roster. Used the Huddle and these forums as a major part of my learning curve. Thanks!
