muck
Well, I applied to: 1 little school in Minnesota 2 little schools in Iowa 3 mid-sized schools in Texas 1 mid-sized school in Tennessee 1 large school in Missouri 1 large school in Kansas I went to one of the TX options figuring the weather would be better and the girls more attractive. Woulda very seriously thought about going to the TEN option if it hadn't been so blasted expensive (although the TX option I chose was the 2nd or 3rd most expensive option on the list, it was still about 40% / yr cheaper than the TEN option). I was able to get out in 4yrs (coulda been 3 or 3.5yrs if I would have REALLY pushed it, though, as I showed up as a FR with 17hrs and got 3hrs more each summer). Hindsight being what it is, I should have stretched it to 5-6yrs and spent the last three as a PT student in some sort of investment apprenticeship (if I could have found one).
