bushwacked Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 Policy Vote's take on the last time this was posted is noteworthy: First of all, this exact test has been posted on the Tailgate multiple times over the years. Second, the test asks some pretty provocative questions, and the results end up being skewed heavily towards libertarianism. Why? Because it's hosted on a Libertarian website! The whole thing is more or less an exercise to get people to think "Hey, this test says I'm Libertarian--maybe I should consider voting that way the next time I'm at the polls!" I'm not saying the test is not without merit, but there's a reason the Libertarians don't pull in a third of the vote in every election. The 'conservatives' who love the get-out-of-my-wallet tax policies won't be able to stomach the get-out-of-my-bedroom social policies, and the reverse is true for 'liberals'.
