meaning like in a public place, not necessarily in your jacket pocket from last season...I remember I found a $50 bill one time in a parking lot, thank goodness for good eye sight, I saw it rolling around in the wind and no cars were around...I was fresh out of college, broke, and hadnt gotten my first paycheck from my new job..I scooped it up and went to the grocery store lol! If this has been posted before, sorry for inconvenience Big John:)

I found $40 when I was about ~10yo.

Dad made me put $20 into savings and the other $20 I spent on a sub-marine game. You layed out mines and looked thru a periscope.

DAMN... can't remember the game! But it was really cool!

Like $10 or so.

+1

My 12 year old daughter recently found a pair of $145 Ray Bans on the floor while my mother was dragging her around antique shopping. She took them to the counter, and the lady said if nobody picked them up in a month she could come back and claim them. She went back last week and got them.

$10-$20

I once left over $100 in my back pocket and the dry cleaner was gracious enough to return it. I had completely forgotten about it.

Oh to be single with no responsibilities.

I found a $100 bill in my fraternity pledge handbook back in like 2001, and had probably not opened it since 1995ish. That bill was promptly spent on booze, more than likely.

I was delivering pizza bout 5 years ago, I found a $100 bill in a yard. It was at a house with a few different apartments in it, I wouldn't know who's it was, so I kept it.

And one time I found a $10 laying on the cement at the front door of a small town Dunkin Donuts.

$180 in a casino parking lot. I have also found $100 bills a couple times, a fifty and some 20's here and there and probably much more smaller stuff I can't remember.

I was with a buddy walking to his car one day when I was in my early 20's and he says....CASH! I didn't know what he was talking about and he picks up this wad of cash...it was around $500. He didn't share a dime of it with me either.

Personally, I found $20 in the mall parking lot when I was in high school on a snow day. My buddy actually spotted it, but we promptly spent it on booze.

My wife and her brothers were searching their uncles house for his will after he had passed. Ch!t you not, found 60k in cash. I never got to see it but apparently it was quite a site. Guy was an x-CIA spook so he had some odd tendencies. Left all his money to a couple universities and churches.

I remember having a game somewhat like that. you had a view finder that you'd look through and you'd pull the trigger when you saw a target go by (it might have been parachutes you dropped). If it landed in the recess, you got a 'point'. The recesses were on a large disc like thing that spun around that land pictures of landscape and such on it.

but then... I figure you and I played with different toys as a kid with the biggest differences likely being most of yours were made of stone and wood.

as far as money goes - I was really young and at a butcher. I was collecting tickets that were dropped upon the ground. I found a $20. I went out to the car to show my sister and my mom caught me. She made me give it to the butcher because she thought some old lady might have dropped it (no reaosn to think that) and might be looking for it. I am sure the bugger just pocketed it.

And dang... I was like 7 year old welfare kid. $20 was a lot of green.

I found $20 more when I was like 13 and didn't tell my mom. It had a stamp on it. I spent days looking for the rest of the bills - that in my mind - were clearly hidden from a bank robbery.

no luck.

The most I found was $20

I was watching one of the contractors I hired tearing down a building. I was in the truck a short distance away. All of a sudden he jumped out of the excavator and ran up onto the pile of debri. I saw him shoving stuff into his pocket. I walked up there and found out that a pile of $$$ came out from one of the walls. The next day when I saw him I asked how much did he get. It was about $1700.00. Good for him. He needed new tires on his truck.

$10 bucks, I think. It wasn't more than $20. I donated it to someone.

Last week my wife and I found a buck. We bought an instant lottey ticket at a machine. No dice.

When I was in college, I noted that about $8,000 was erroneously deposited into my checking account, which increased the balance of my account to $8,020.50. I called the bank, figuring that they'd discover the error eventually.

I found 90 bucks in a parking lot of a bar. I remember it was the night that Foreman knocked out Moorer. I had 80 bucks blow right up to me in the wind in the city once and I found 80 once on the floor of a casino
