Their first son is named Cedric. This one will either be Nolan or Roland. I voted Nolan (because the most famous Nolan I could think of was Nolan Ryan) and I think Roland is too...French. He has a cool story about when someone in the restaurant he and his family were in overheard him tell the story to someone else at their table, only to have this person come over to them and introduce herself as being Nolan Ryan's sister (or cousin, or wife ... don't remember ...) and that she'd have him send two autographed, game-worn spamshirts (iirc) to him for his sons' room. About a month later, a package arrived with two signed spamshirts (and, iirc, some bats, balls, hats, etc.). ...that's all I have on that...other than congratulations! The Holy Roller Posted May 13, 2011 Author Share Posted May 13, 2011 (edited) Last night I get the phone call with the name! (Thanks for all the support for Nolan, by the way). It seems the son-in-law and one of his grandfathers started talking and came up with an entirely new suggestion: ELIAS Mom liked it and that was that. So now I've got a grandson Elias and for the life of me the only one I know of is the Elias from the movie Platoon. Anyway, he is AWESOME.
