That was a huge area of need for the Eagles. They took a beating for not addressing it in the draft

This trade has a possibility to be better for the Saints later. I think it was Rapaport that said depending on how much the Eagles pay CGJ that 5th and 6th could move up. I think the Saints are banking on the Eagles paying CGJ well. Plus the Saints know CGJ wants to get paid like a top safety which is more then his little slot corner role. I just wish would of got a good linemen for him since Penning is out for the season.

He's an elite nickel, but he can also be frustrating at times because he loves to stir stuff up with the other team and occasionally gets caught doing it. He's definitely an instigator, but he backs it up on the field too. Expect a few blows thrown in practice as he gets himself acquainted with his new teammates. He'll get in anyone's head and set up a retirement condo, rent free.

Which the Eagles could of helped them out with. The Eagles backup lineman are better than most teams starters. They are deep.

Exactly. I think the Eagles are the deepest at linemen out of the whole NFL from what I been reading.

The Eagles gave up dog pooopy

🏈Eagles

🏈Saints

Wouldn't the comp pick likely be better then a 6th (if they let him walk after the season is over)  worst case for the Eagles is they moved a pick back a year if they don't resign hi.

Howie Roseman can't draft for his life but he's by far the best at fleecing teams of their talent. He always slides in and makes these little moves to help the team.

Definitely the biggest cut.  I was certain ol' Lovie was going to keep Mack around and bring Pierce on slowly.

Based on who the Texans have on the roster, I could see Sony Michel being an option there, especially if Drake signs with the Ravens.

Pretty sure Mack will get picked up somewhere, but just shows how hard it is to come back from the Achilles injury (looking at you here Akers)

Not sure why they'd bring Michel in after cutting a similar type of guy in Mack.

Good article on how Loomis & Roseman make deals

Bengals signing OJ Howard

That was fast: The #Bengals are hosting FA TE OJ Howard on a visit today and assuming all goes well with the physical, he’s expected to sign, source said. The former first-rounder was a surprising cut yesterday and this should come together today.

So much for Hurst being the guy in Cincy...

Even as the lead TE with CIN his value wasn't very high with Chase, Higgins, Boyd and others ahead of him in the receiving game. I'd have him ranked in the low-mid 20s, would be a low end TE2 in a 12 team league.

Well,  when you're in need of a TE2 in a 16 team dynasty league it kinda sucks.

I can't say that Howard has ever really done anything to hurt (or supplant) the TE1 value. Maybe Cincy will be different, but he could never beat our Cameron Brate and couldn't stick as a backup in BUF, I really don't see him having a significant effect in Cincy as a likely scenario.

Logan Ryan cut by Bucs.  Kind of a surprise.  Mike Edwards will be the SS.  If anything this indicates that Keanu Neal may have some value down the road.

I am reading different things about him. There was no guaranteed $ in his contract so he was cut and will re-sign when Jensen goes on IR. Ryan is two times the player that Edwards is.

All the camp talk about Ryan was not just good, it was emphatically great.

Ah, very interesting.  I hadn't seen that.  Makes sense now.

I grabbed Ryan in a couple of IDP leagues thinking he could put up pretty good numbers - at least DB2 - in that system.

Thanks for the info.
