I think Arthur Smith prefers to play 12-personnel and this will free Pitts up to be the main "pass-catching" TE. I don't think this negatively affects Pitts much. I could see Dallas going hard after him with Schultz not looking like he is coming back. A lot of mocks have them taking a TE this year.
